Technical points of cultivating Tenebrio Molitor in Distiller's grains
Tenebrio Molitor is an important animal protein resource, which has been widely studied and utilized in recent years. Experiments show that Tenebrio Molitor can make good use of distiller's grains, a by-product of the distillery, and efficiently produce high quality feed protein. This not only found a cheap feed for the mass production of Tenebrio Molitor, but also found a new and effective method for the comprehensive utilization of distiller's grains.
First, the site selection site had better be close to the winery, generally need to have liquor lees storage room, yellow powder worm adult spawning room, yellow powder insect larva feeding room, birds and other economic animal breeding room and so on.
Second, the preparation of wet distiller's grains is a by-product of the distillery, which contains about 65% moisture, about 4% crude protein, about 4% crude fat, about 15% nitrogen-free extract, about 12% crude fiber and rich multivitamins. White distiller's grains contain a lot of loose rice husks used in fermentation, yellow powder insects can feed on the nutrients of rice husk distillers' grains, and the larvae grow and develop well, and the transformation efficiency is very high.
3. Adult feeding of Tenebrio Molitor
1. Cut the spawning board with plywood.
2. Use small dried fish (commonly known as cat fish) and potato chips or pumpkin slices or carrot slices instead of wheat bran for adult feed. The specific operation methods are as follows: first put the Tenebrio Molitor pupa into the spawning box, then evenly sprinkle a layer of wheat bran (about 0.5 ~ 0.6 cm thick), and then spread an appropriate amount of small dried fish. After all the pupae are feathered into adults, put in appropriate amount of fresh pumpkin slices, fresh carrots or fresh potato slices, and the adult feed is constantly added according to the feeding situation. In the adult feeding box, adults should put in a higher density to improve the utilization efficiency of the egg box and the density of eggs on the spawning board; the spawning board is generally changed every 3 days, and wheat bran with a thickness of 0.5 cents and 0.6 centimeters is added. The spawning boards should be stacked horizontally in order, generally stacking 6 layers, and should not be overweight so as not to crush the eggs on the spawning board. The spawning board with eggs should be placed at a suitable temperature for 6 days. After 6 days when the eggs hatch into larvae, the larvae on the spawning board together with wheat bran can be scraped off with a scraper and gently crushed and placed in a plastic basin. Adults are generally raised for two months, and the number of eggs will be eliminated after two months.
Using distiller's grains to raise yellow powder insects has the advantages of low cost, simple method, large-scale production and high benefit. Generally speaking, every 1 ton of wet liquor grains can be raised into 40 kilograms of fresh yellow powder worms. if calculated at 20 yuan per ton of wet liquor grains, the feed cost for every 1 kilogram of fresh yellow powder insects is only 0.5 yuan.
