The concrete content of the cage high-density three-dimensional high-yield frog culture technology is that: using farm manure, wheat bran and the like to cultivate earthworms, mealworms and fly maggots, and then feeding bullfrogs in the cage with earthworms and the like. Cage set in the fish pond, frog dung, worm dung can be fertilized fish. The method has the advantages of less occupied land, low cost, pest prevention, large breeding density, fast growth of bullfrogs, convenient management, high comprehensive benefit and the like. Specific technical measures are as follows.

( 1) Net cage setting

The cage material used to manufacture the breeding bullfrog requires good ventilation and water permeability. Generally, it can be made of plastic mesh or screen sewing. The specifications and shape of the cage should be adapted to local conditions. Generally, it is better to be rectangular. The volume should not exceed 10 cubic meters. After the mesh is sewn, it can be tied into a box frame with bamboo strips or wooden strips, and the mesh is fixed on it and fully opened. When setting up a net cage in a pond, a foam board or floating material can be tied at a position 30 cm into the water of the box to ensure the stability of the water level in the box, and the rope can be pulled at the shore to prevent strong wind blowing.

( 2) stocking density

Cage breeding bullfrog should make full use of the water in the box, can be raised at high density, the general stocking density is: tadpoles 300 - 500/square meter, young frogs 150 - 200/square meter, adult frogs 80 - 100/square meter. Bullfrogs should be placed into cages according to their growth speed, and the size of frogs should be graded in time to avoid unnecessary losses caused by mutual cannibalism.

( 3) Reasonable feeding

After the frog seedlings are put into the box, one or more bait trays shall be arranged in the box according to the size of the box body and the number of frogs. The daily feeding quantity should be determined according to frog size, weather changes and water temperature, and it is advisable to eat up within 1 hour after feeding. Typically, baits are given twice a day, once each from 9 - 10 a.m. and 5 - 6 p.m.

( 4) Disease prevention and disinfection

Because cage breeding bullfrog stocking density is large, frog group concentration, so should do a good job of disease prevention and disinfection work, generally every 10 days with a concentration of 1 mg/g bleach solution to the box for sprinkling disinfection.
