I. Reproduction

In order to improve fecundity, natural brood must be changed to increase egg production, generally up to 110-120/year. The breeding period of black phoenix chicken is 3-4 years. If machine hatching is the main breeding method, cocks can breed at 6-7 months and hens can breed at 10 months. The ratio of male to female is 1:6. Incubation should be carried out at five levels: temperature: 37-38℃ is appropriate; humidity: 65%-70% in the early stage of relative humidity, 50%-55% in the middle stage, 65% when hatching; egg turning: turning eggs once every 2 hours, stopping turning eggs after 18 days; egg drying: 1 week later, 1-2 times a day in the third week, 3-5 minutes each time; ventilation: 1-2 times a day, hatching 21 days, turning to brood.

II. Feeding management

Chicken house: choose flat terrain, leeward sunny, dry soil, good drainage place to build houses. Some professional households adopt a single-row and corridor, north to south, north and south sides of the size of each window, in order to ventilate; cement floor, conducive to scouring feces. The south wall is provided with a free entrance and exit, a sports ground is arranged outside, food and water containers are distributed on the sports ground, an egg box is arranged at one side of the house, a perch frame is arranged at the other side, and a sand pool is arranged at a corner of the sports ground. Each chicken house has an area of 40-50 square meters and is raised 6 birds/square meter.

Feed: Feed complete feed, reference diet formula is as follows:

1. Brood feed: corn 58%, wheat bran 6.7%, broken wheat 3%, bean cake 15%, rapeseed cake 5%, fish meal 10%, bone meal 1.5%, additive 0.5%, salt 0.3%.

2. Medium chicken feed: grain granule 40%, grain flour 15%, cake 15%, bran 20%, fish meal 8%, shellfish meal 1.6%, salt 0.4%.

3. Chicken feed: corn residue 20%, barley 15%, wheat bran 10%, rice sugar 15%, soybean flour 12.6%, green feed 15%, fish meal 10%, bone meal, shellfish meal 2%, salt 0.4%.

Scientific feeding: to achieve "three fixed": regular, feed 4 times a day, starting from 7:00 a.m.; quantitative, depending on the age of chickens, the general daily intake of adult chickens 150g; fixed water, for sufficient water, well water for the best, do not drink sewage.

Chick management: mainly "six catch": 1. catch temperature. 1 week old is 32℃, after the weekly drop of 2℃, but not lower than 20℃;2. Grasp humidity. Relative humidity 60%-70%;3. Grasp the light. 23 hours is appropriate within 3-5 days (including natural light), and the next 16 hours;4. Chickens start feeding within 24 hours;5. Grasp ventilation. Keep ventilation under the premise of ensuring brood temperature requirements;6. Grasp density: 20-30/m2.

Feeding of medicinal chickens: first, male and female chickens should be raised in groups after 60 days of age, and mixed breeding is not allowed; second, feed compound feed, reference ration formula: wheat 10%, sorghum flour 10%, fish meal 10%, rice bran cake 7%, corn residue 20%, bean cake flour 15%, wheat bran 15%, wheat flour 6.6%, shell powder 6%, salt 0.4%; third, feed regularly, quantitatively and water. Fourth, do a good job in epidemic prevention and disease elimination, often observe the dynamics of chickens, once the disease occurs, timely treatment; fifth, the chicken house temperature should be maintained at 16-20℃.

Epidemic prevention and elimination: adhere to "two mornings": one is early prevention without disease. The first side cleaning chicken house, feed before washing food, water, do not feed moldy feed. Prevention of disease: 1-15 days old in the feed with 0.02% furazolidone, prevention of white diarrhea. Chickens of 1 day old were injected subcutaneously with 0.2ml Marek's disease vaccine daily to prevent Marek's disease. 7-10 Nose drops of Newcastle disease Ⅱ strain were used for day-age. The second is to treat diseases early. Regularly observe the dynamics of chicken flocks and treat them in time once they fall ill.

III. Timely delivery

Breeders grow 45-60 days old; 900g of medicated cocks, 750g of hens and 1000g of commercial chickens can be sold.
