1 the mink should be fed properly

Plant feed generally accounts for 20%, 25% of the daily food supply. Among them: grain seeds should be crushed and steamed at high temperature, and then fed; vegetables should be washed, chopped and mixed in feed.

2 the young mink should be weaned at the right time

Mink can be weaned 40-45 days after birth. If the development of the whole litter is balanced, separate the mink at one time and put 2 of the same size, sex and physique in a cage. After 1 week, it is raised in a single cage to prevent food grabbing, biting and infection. If the female mink is thin and lacked of milk, the female mink can be removed and the young mink can be kept in the original cage, and then raised separately according to the above method 3-5 days later; for the young mink that is unevenly developed and often bites and grabs, the young mink should be weaned in batches according to their body size and feeding ability, first weaning the well-developed and large mink, leaving the poorly developed ones in the mother mink cage to continue feeding, and weaning at any time according to the growth and development.

3 Prevention and treatment of mink cold disease

3.1 when there is a sudden change in climate, attention should be paid to keeping warm, keeping the nest dry and hygienic, so as to prevent rain from getting wet.

3.2 Therapeutic prescription

(1) take phenacetin 10mg or aminopyrine 10mg or tetracycline 20mg once a day.

(2) intramuscular injection of penicillin 50 000 units or benazepine 0.5ml.

4 prevention and treatment of mink yellow liposis

(1) do not feed fish, meat feed with high fat content and rancidity, and feed with 10-20g wheat malt or cottonseed oil.

(2) to treat the sick mink in time, Vb5g and Ve5g can be mixed and crushed and mixed into the feed, once a day for 7 days. Or VeO.5-1ml (1ml containing 10g) and Vb3-5g were injected intramuscularly once a day for 5-7 days.
