There are four most common diseases of scorpions, namely, black belly disease, body rot, scorpion lice disease and dry blight disease. In the process of feeding and management, a variety of measures should be taken to prevent the occurrence of these diseases.

Black abdomen disease: the main symptoms are scorpion abdominal blackness, abnormal feces, inactivity, do not eat. The disease generally occurs in winter or early spring, mainly due to low external temperature, high humidity, and too much water in the scorpion. Reasonable increase of scorpion nest temperature and decrease of humidity can prevent the occurrence of the disease.

Body rot: the main symptoms are scorpion abdominal swelling and blackening, do not eat, do not move, and then the whole body rot, a large number of death. The disease is mainly due to feed deterioration or unclean drinking water, which can be treated with antibiotics such as dysentery and a small amount of yeast tablets. Special attention should be paid to maintaining environmental and dietary hygiene in order to prevent the occurrence of this disease.

Scorpion lice disease: the main symptom is that the scorpion is extremely restless, with yellow powder-like mites lurking in the chest and abdomen, which can gradually torture the scorpion to death. The disease is mainly caused by excessive humidity in the scorpion nest. To prevent the disease, 1% bleach solution and 3.5% potassium permanganate solution can be used to spray disinfect the scorpion nest, or 4.5% formalin solution can be used to disinfect the scorpion nest.

Dry blight: the main symptoms are yellow tail of scorpion, flattened front abdomen, and no luster all over the body. The disease is mainly caused by the scorpion's long-term lack of water. As long as the water supply is paid attention to at ordinary times and the humidity of the scorpion nest is moderate, the occurrence of this disease can be avoided.
