The market sales of ricefield eel are higher every winter, especially the large size eel is more popular. May to November is the golden period for rice field eel fattening, so choose to fatten eel seedlings; supply sufficient and nutritious feed; do a good job in daily management such as water quality, temperature control, feeding, disease prevention and so on. Monopterus Albus can gain 3 to 5 times weight after fattening for about 6 months, and the specification of eel is generally more than 150g. Its market price is high, and the economic benefit is very remarkable.

Ricefield eel eels eat less, but have higher requirements for protein, and have a special preference for earthworms, maggots and so on. Extensive use of pig manure, cow manure, chicken manure and other livestock and poultry manure, adding em bacteria fermentation, a large number of earthworms and fly maggots. The aseptic earthworms and fly maggots produced not only cater to the eating habits of Monopterus Albus, provide better animal bait for domestication, but also improve the cheap high-protein feed, which can greatly reduce the fattening cost and improve the fattening efficiency. Other animal bait can also choose small fish and shrimp, field snail, clam, animal viscera and so on.

The fattening feed uses the combination of animal bait and fish feed, do not use single earthworms, fly maggots, etc., animal bait for fattening, otherwise the feed conversion rate is low and the fattening effect is affected by the increase of fattening cycle. The formula feed uses animal bait 50% Mel 60%, fish feed 40% Mel 50%, concentrated feed accounts for 1% of fish feed, and animal bait such as earthworms, concentrated feed and adhesive are added to produce soft ball or soft strip feed. Specific method: crush the fishmeal, add moving bait and concentrated food such as ground earthworms, then add appropriate amount of adhesive and water to mix well on the machine, use a meat grinder (3 to 5 mm mold hole, choose to use according to the size of rice field eel) into thin strip feed, hang for a while, turn gently with your hand, let the longer strip be naturally disconnected. Small-scale eel can be raised by mixing balls: crushed fish feed is added with chopped earthworms and other animal bait, then concentrated food, a small amount of binder and an appropriate amount of water are added. The animal bait can also be crushed and mixed with adhesive, concentrated feed and an appropriate amount of water to form a paste, and then the pellet fish feed can be directly introduced into a ball-like compound feed, which is not easy to store. If the animal bait is lacking, the eel can be domesticated with limited bait, and then the fish feed can be added gradually until all the fish feed is fed.

Feeding eels in order to reduce labor intensity, we can first use animal bait for domestication, and then gradually add fish feed for domestication, and then directly feed fish feed. In this way, we can first put the fish feed particles, add concentrated material and a small amount of binder, and then pour the right amount of water into the eel pond directly to feed the eel. The dosage should be moderate, it is better to finish eating within 10 minutes, and then feed the eel with animal bait such as earthworms or maggots.
