The management of pond culture of Loach in autumn and winter should do the following:

1. Timely feeding, fattening and fattening. Misgurnus anguillicaudatus can be fed at water temperature above 10 ℃. When the water temperature is above 20 ℃, it is the critical period for fattening and fattening, and it should be fed fully; when the water temperature is above 15 ℃, the feeding of Loach is still exuberant, and the feed can not be relaxed; when the water temperature is 10-15 ℃, it should be fed at least once a day. During this period, the proportion of animal feed should be increased and a small amount of compound amino acids and vitamins should be mixed to improve the feed utilization rate of Loach. When the water temperature is lower than 10 ℃ and Loach is still floating and foraging at noon on a sunny day, a small amount of feeding should be maintained.

2. Build a greenhouse to protect against cold and keep warm. When the water temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the growth of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus gradually slows down until it stops growing. Artificial cold protection and warmth preservation can relatively prolong the growth period of Loach. The specific method is that when the water temperature is about 15 ℃, bamboo poles are inserted around the Misgurnus anguillicaudatus culture pond to form an arch shed, and an artificial greenhouse is built with transparent plastic film, which can not only ensure normal light but also effectively slow down heat loss and prolong the growth period of Loach for more than a month. It is suitable for popularization and application in ponds with small water surface.

3. Take measures to survive the winter safely. In the natural overwintering open-air pond, when the temperature drops below 10 ℃ in November every year, Loach begins to stop feeding and gradually enters the overwintering dormancy period. There are two natural ways of overwintering Loach in open pond. First, the dry pond overwintered, after the Loach stopped feeding, the pond water was drained, and after the Loach entered the bottom soil, the mud was covered with straw bags or crop straw 15-20 cm thick to keep the sediment moist and free from icing. Do not pile up the mulch too dense to prevent the Loach from suffocating to death. When the soil is dry, you can remove the cover and spray water to moisten it. Do not spray water on the cover. Second, overwintering in deep water, that is, before the Loach enters the overwintering period, the water level of the pond is raised to about 1 meter, and the Loach is drilled into the underwater soil to hibernate. During the overwintering period, we should pay attention to observe the water level and replenish the water in time to prevent the Loach from freezing to death due to the shallow water level. If the pond water freezes, it should be broken manually in time to prevent Loach from suffering from hypoxia and asphyxiation caused by ice for a long time. (Jia Baoling)
