I. production performance

Eggs are laid from hatching to 35 days old, up to 50% at 45 days, 70% at 50 days, 80% at 60 days, 90% at 220 days, 85% at 300 days, and 80% at 360 days.

Egg to feed ratio: 80 to 220 days old, 2.5 to 2.6 ∶ 1

220,300 days old 2.72.8 ∶ 1

300,000 360days old 3 ∶ 1

In addition, the egg-to-feed ratio in summer is higher than that in winter, and a quail needs to invest 3 yuan to turn around.

Feeding standard: protein 22%, energy 2800, methionine 0.55, lysine 1.3, calcium / phosphorus ratio: 3 ∶ 1

III. Feeding and management during the rearing period

1. Characteristics of rearing period

During the period of rearing, they showed red eyes, poor eyesight, poor feeding ability and abnormal feeding movement. the feed was easy to squint and starve to death after being blind. The transfer from the nursery to the adult quail cage often causes a large number of deaths due to environmental discomfort. The adult quail has gentle temperament, high egg-to-feed ratio, high and stable yield and strong disease resistance.

two。 Daily feeding

(1) thorough disinfection and closed fumigation of potassium permanganate and formaldehyde before entering the baby.

(2) to adopt the flat net single-layer brooding, because the white quail has poor eyesight, easy to pile up and wet hair, so the brooding cage can only raise chicks in a single layer, and the smaller the density, the better, 200 per square meter, but it should be divided into four groups, 50 in each group, which will greatly improve the survival rate.

(3) the inside of the nursery cage had better be covered with coarse cloth, and too smooth paper can not be laid, which can easily lead to leg skimming.

(4) the feed should not be too coarse, the size of rice grain should be suitable at the age of 1-10 days, and the spraying should be thin and thick. if it is too thin, it is difficult to starve to death in large numbers. It is too thick and easy to be blind, and the thickness should be 0.5 cm.

(5) drinking water: drink cold boiled water at the age of 1 ~ 7 days, and the water temperature is the same as room temperature. 0.01% potassium permanganate water at the age of 1 day is free to drink for 1 day. In addition to killing intestinal bacteria, because birds like red, it can also attract young quails to drink water cooler models smaller and more difficult to wet hair. At the age of 2-3 days, 1000 young quails were given penicillin once a day, each time 800000 units of penicillin 8 sticks. In order to prevent the occurrence of quail pullorum, drink dysentery once a day and add 1 tablet per jin of water at the age of 5 to 10 days. The dosage should be accurate, crushed and filtered into the water with fine cloth. Stop immediately if there is poisoning.

(6) temperature: temperature is the key to the success or failure of brooding

1 "3 days 38" 39 ℃ 4 "5 days 36" 37 ℃

6: 10 days 35 ℃ 10: 35 days 30: 32 ℃

Indoor temperature can not only look at the temperature shown by the thermometer, mainly depends on the mental state of the baby quail, stacking shows that the temperature is low. Climbing into a lethargy means that the temperature is high, that there is food and rest, that the temperature is right, and that the bottom of the thermometer should be hung at the same height as the quail, and should not be near the wall in the middle of the nursery cage. The thermometer had better be calibrated with a thermometer.

(7) after the beginning of laying, the optimum range is 25-35 ℃, and the egg-to-feed ratio of 30 ℃ is the highest.
