Eight methods of increasing oxygen in yellow eel pond in early autumn

The high water temperature in early autumn is easy to cause anoxia in eel pond, and then cause floating head of rice field eel, which will cause death and bring great economic loss to rice field eel farmers. When the aquaculture water body is anoxic, the following methods can be used to increase the oxygen of the water body.

First, cooling and increasing oxygen. Can be set up on the top of the pond, covered with straw shade; can also be planted around the pond vines, such as pumpkins, cucumbers, etc., let the vines climb to the top of the pond to shade, in order to reduce the water temperature, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing oxygen.

Second, water injection to increase oxygen. In the high temperature season, an appropriate amount of new water is injected into the eel pond every day, and the old water is discharged to make the pool water have sufficient dissolved oxygen.

Third, plants purify water and increase oxygen. Plant an appropriate amount of water hyacinth, water peanut, duckweed and other aquatic plants in the eel pond. These plants release a large amount of oxygen through photosynthesis and increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.

Fourth, physically purify water and increase oxygen. For every cubic meter of water, take 20 to 30 grams of quicklime and sprinkle it with hydration while it is hot, which can clear the pond and disinfect, improve the water quality and increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.

Fifth, photosynthesis increases oxygen. At night in summer and autumn, iodine tungsten lamp or high-power incandescent lamp can be used as light source to promote photosynthesis of plants in eel pond and increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in water.

Sixth, drugs increase oxygen. In the high temperature season, for the eel ponds with high culture density, choose calcium peroxide or bleach powder, sprinkle 2mg per liter of pond water evenly, and release oxygen by chemical reaction.

Seventh, clear the pond and increase oxygen. Silt is the main oxygen consumption of the pond, so it should be cleared in time every year.

Mechanical oxygenation. Conditional eel pond can be installed with aerator. In the high temperature season, it can be turned on in the early morning for 1-2 hours to increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.
