What is the difference between chicken farming in the north and chicken farming technology in other places?

(1)Chick stocking: about 1 month after birth, weighing 0.25--0.3 kg, in late April when the weather is warm, chicks can be moved to the mountains in batches according to their physical strength. Grazing sites should be from far to near, grazing time gradually extended. During the first few days of grazing, vitamin C or multivitamins can be added to supplementary feed or drinking water to prevent stress.

(2)Immunization before stocking: Nasal immunization of Newcastle disease was carried out at 7- 10 days of age, and the second time at 30 days of age.

(3)Supplementary feeding and drinking water: pay attention to observe the chicken flock, determine the supplementary feeding times according to different seasons and chicken foraging conditions, generally supplement 1- 2 times a day, drink 2- 3 times. In case of bad weather or winter when it is impossible to go out for food, house feeding should be carried out. The following formula (%) can be referred to in the house feeding diet: corn 68, soybean cake 18, fish meal 8.5, rice chaff 4, shellfish meal 0.75, bone meal 0.5, salt 0.25, and the daily feeding amount of each chicken is 100g.

(4)Training method: When training, people induce chickens to go up the mountain with feed in front, blow whistles, so that chickens gradually form conditioned reflexes to whistles and form the habit of feeding up the mountain; in the evening, chickens are also allowed to return to the chicken house for supplementary feeding and drinking water through whistles.

(5)Prevention of animal damage: pay attention to prevent the invasion of wild animals, rats, weasels and snakes, and kill rats in time.

(6)Pay attention to listen to the weather forecast: when the weather is bad, do not exercise, under heavy rain, hail in time to drive chickens back to the house, in case of accidents.
