The technology of raising duck in fermentation bed is to respect the rights and freedom of ducks and to provide a good duck house with sufficient sunshine, good ventilation, no odor and no flies according to the growth law of ducks. Starting from the duckling, the ducklings were properly fed with coarse fodder such as brown rice, bamboo leaves and grass to promote gastrointestinal development, improve digestion and absorption capacity, improve feed utilization rate, reduce feed cost, increase weight gain rate and prolong egg laying life. Duck farmers should make full use of or prepare various nutrients, starters and biological disinfectants. Meet the nutrition needs of ducks, prevent various diseases, maintain the healthy physique of ducks, and provide pollution-free eggs and meat to human beings with environmentally friendly new agricultural technology.

I. Construction of duck house

Choose to build a fermentation bed duck farm in a high-lying, remote and secluded place, where the ground of the fermentation bed duck house is connected to the soil, and the ground should be covered with straw. The fermentation bed duck house not only maximizes the use of natural resources, but also ensures the physiological and ecological environment of the ducks living in the duck house. All facilities and utensils are designed according to the shape, habits and perception of ducks, and the basic right to survival of ducks is fully respected. To adopt a structure suitable for freedom and equality, duck houses can move freely, ducks can give full play to their nature without human intervention, and can grow healthily and carefree.

Structure of duck house used in the south

According to the climatic characteristics of various regions in China, the design drawings of fermentation bed duck house are divided into southern use and northern use.

The duck house is located due south, slightly tilting 8 degrees to the east, with a low wall of about one meter in the north and a high wall of about three meters in the east, with skylights installed on the roof, which can be moved and opened or the whole south of the roof is roofed with transparent plastic material, with a wide space. a double-decker duck cage with an area of 10.5 meters x 5.5 meters = 57.75 square meters can raise 624 ducks. The lower 2ram 3 of the south roof can be covered with galvanized sheet or plastic sheet, and the upper 1ram 3 of the south roof should be open all the year round and covered with movable roofs or canvas in rain, snow or foggy weather. Canvas can be used to replace part of the wall in the north and south of the duck house, and an automatic opening and closing device should be used for ventilation. Adjust the height of the vent at any time according to the temperature. The structure of the aboveground part of the duck house provides the most suitable habitat for microorganisms because it maintains the shady side of 2P3 and the sunny proportion of 1P3. Because the ceiling is covered with galvanized sheet with fast heat conduction, it can form air convection and make cool breeze flow into the duck house. The cool breeze brings fresh air to the duck, which can make the moisture on the bed evaporate moderately and keep the bed dry all the time. Because some sand, soil, pine needle powder and so on are placed on the east and west sides of the bed, the duck can fully absorb all kinds of minerals and trace elements in sand, soil and pine needle powder.

The structure of duck house used in the north

The suitable temperature range of native duck is 5-28 degrees, the optimum temperature for laying eggs is 12 to 22 degrees, and the laying rate is the highest when the temperature in the house is 13 to 18 degrees. The temperature needed for laying ducks should be considered in the north. The suitable growth temperature of meat duck is 4-30, and the best growth temperature is 12-20 degrees. In cold areas, the north roof is all covered with thermal insulation instead of galvanized sheet. The structure of the duck house on the south side is changed into a vegetable greenhouse model, and a layer of plastic board or solar panel is fixed from the roof to the ground, which absorbs more solar heat during the day and is covered with straw curtains or heat preservation at night. Brick walls can be built on the north-west side, with a thickness of about 35 centimeters. There are more than three vents on the north wall (90 cm long x 60 cm high). The vent should be more than 1.5 meters above the duck's head. When the temperature drops sharply and the work of cold prevention and heat preservation can not keep up, it is often easy to make meat ducks feel cold and have respiratory diseases characterized by symptoms such as cough, sneezing, dyspnea and so on.

In the skylight position, all ventilation windows can be installed, which can be opened as far as possible during the day in spring, summer and autumn, and closed when the temperature is low at night to ensure constant indoor temperature. In winter, the skylight should be opened for ventilation during the day and the heat preservation should be closed at night.

In addition, when laying the foundation, the insulation board on the outside of the foundation (about 5 cm thick) is pushed into the soil. In case the soil layer freezes in winter.

Can first design before and after two large-scale fermentation bed duck shed for dry farming technology, ducks life-long on the fermentation bed, generally in the fermentation bed 1 meter outside the design of a drinking tank, drinking water tank is also a place for ducks to wash their bodies. The trick of designing the fermentation bed to the drinking tank is: when the duck wants to go from the cushion to the drinking tank, it must first go through a slight slope 10 centimeters high, followed by an outward slope, the length of which is about 100 centimeters to the drinking trough. The purpose of this design is that ducks like to play in the water and exercise properly, if the drinking tank is placed on or above the cushion. When playing in the water, ducks will put a large amount of water on the cushion, which is easy to affect the normal decomposition of the fermentation bed and transform feces and urine, etc., and the current design is that the drinking water tank is about 1 meter away from the cushion. Ducks will not flow into the cushion on this uphill road after drinking and swimming.
