Bullfrog is a temperature-changing animal, which hibernates for 3 to 4 months every year. Bullfrogs can be raised in vegetable greenhouses.

The suitable area of vegetable greenhouse is 1 mu, ordinary arched greenhouse, long from east to west, covered with double-layer drip-free plastic film, celery is planted in the greenhouse, and there is a well (tap water is also available). Straw is made of wheat straw or straw. The straw is covered on the shed at 4: 00 p. M. every day and lifted at 9: 00 a. M. the next day to make the sun shine into the greenhouse. Grass curls play a role in heat preservation, and they don't have to be rolled up on cloudy days to prevent the temperature in the shed from falling.

The area of the frog pool is 20 square meters, which is located in the center of the greenhouse, with a depth of 1.5 meters and a slope of 1. 5 meters. There are transplanted water peanuts and water hyacinth in the pond. 20 days before stocking, the frog pool was disinfected with 20 × 10 ~ 6 bleach powder. The incubator is located next to the spawning pond, with an area of 4 square meters and a depth of 0.6 meters.

Among the commercial frogs, bullfrogs weighing about 500g, more than two years old and sexually mature were selected as parent frogs. 10 groups were stocked per mu, and the ratio of female to male was 1:1. When the temperature is 15 ℃ ~ 18 ℃, put the parent frog in the prepared greenhouse.

After feeding in March, the air temperature and water temperature in the greenhouse are relatively high, and bullfrogs should be fed regularly twice a day, mainly expanded pellets, with small miscellaneous fish, silkworm pupae, earthworms and other animal feed. Put the feed on the feed plate, and the amount of feed should be slightly surplus after eating that day.

Daily management after the frog enters the greenhouse, in addition to the normal vegetable management, fresh water is often injected to keep the water quality fresh. Keep patrolling the ponds every day, record all kinds of environment of the culture ponds, and disinfect the frog ponds with 10 × 10 ~ 6 raw lime water regularly.
