After the transformation, the 100-mu pond is divided into three parts, with more than 80 mu of primary water purification area on one side and about 15 mu of secondary water purification area on the other, and eight small ponds of one and a half mu are separated between the two water purification areas, which is the main conservation area, and oxygen-increasing discharge outlets are installed under each pool.

Shen Tianxiang said that the principle of this new aquaculture system is to ensure the quality of water in the main culture area through oxygen-increasing equipment or by using a pump to accelerate the flow of water in the main culture area and the purification area. Electricity bills are three times as high as in the past, but management and feed costs have fallen sharply.

For the new farming method, in Shen Tianxiang's view, the biggest expense is the electricity bill. Compared with the increase in electricity charges, Shen Tianxiang said that this new farming method saves more costs, makes it much more convenient to manage and put in bait than before, and reduces the waste of feed. "you think, in the past, the fish were scattered in 100 mu of water, and a large part of the feed was wasted. Now the fish are all in the one and a half mu of water, so how much feed is consumed?"

The water quality is better, the fish are less sick, and the amount of medicine used is much less.

"the biggest feature of this new aquaculture system is not only to reduce costs and increase efficiency, but also more ecological and environmentally friendly, fish are also healthier, and the use of drugs is much less than in the past." Feng Jun, deputy director of Changzhou Fisheries Station, told reporters that in the past, fish dung and inexhaustible feed were deposited at the bottom of the water, and over time, the water quality deteriorated, the content of nitrite and sulfide in the water increased, and fish were easy to get sick. Farmers need to put in a lot of drugs to ensure the survival of fish.

On the other hand, the new culture system will form a flow cycle, which will wash away the feces deposited at the bottom of the main culture area, and the flowing clean water can also ensure the water quality of the main culture area. "the content of nitrite and sulfide is very low in the main culture area of the new system, and the fish is healthier. If you don't get sick, you won't have to give drugs." Feng Jun told reporters that according to the breeding data of the new system in Suzhou, the dosage of drugs is only 1pm 286 of that of traditional farming methods.

Because it is the first year to breed with a new method, 100000 jin of herring is reduced.

In addition to the main conservation area, Shen Tianxiang's two water purification areas have also been utilized. Shen Tianxiang told reporters that in his first-class water purification area of more than 80 mu, he raised about 100000 jin of herring in low density, while in the secondary purification area of about 15 mu, he put some green shrimp and screws. "200000 jin of herring in the main culture area plus 100000 jin of free-raised herring has increased by 50% compared with the past. Coupled with green shrimp, screws and silver carp that purify water sources in the water, the income has increased by far more than 50%. " Shen Tianxiang roughly calculated that the profit of herring is more than 2 yuan per catty, as well as 100 mu of water surface, and the new culture system can increase the income by more than 300000 yuan per year compared with traditional farming methods.
