It is cold in winter, so it is necessary to take measures to increase the temperature of the chicken house for the better growth of the chickens. So how to make the chicken house not only achieve the effect of warming, but also save energy?

1. Use hot air bag or plumbing

Raising chickens in cages in the house, you can light a stove outside the chicken house, heat the chicken house through a hot air belt or heating pipe, and pay attention to ventilation and fire prevention. The fire door should be set outside the house, and the coal stove can also be placed in the house to supply temperature, but a certain number of vents should be left in the chicken house.

2. Increase the thickness of the wall

In order to reduce heat loss and maintain indoor temperature, a layer of polystyrene board can be used in the wall or affixed to it. The thickness of the board can be flexibly controlled according to the thickness of the wall. If done well, this measure can save energy.

3. Block the window

If there are conditions, you can use plastic steel, aluminum alloy doors and windows, glass with double-layer thickening specifications, although the cost is high, but avoid the tedious sealing year after year. If the condition is poor, the window can be sealed with polystyrene board, cotton door curtain and multi-layer plastic, and then the inner thermal insulation material can be strengthened and nailed with wood or cardboard to avoid cold air going in and out of the chicken coop directly, thus achieving a good heat preservation effect.

4. Set up above-ground or underground flue

If the chicken house is equipped with above-ground or underground flue for temperature supply, a certain amount of fuel should be added and attention should be paid to prevent the flue from leaking. The above-ground flue is hotter than the underground flue, and the utilization rate is high, and the underground flue saves more space than the above-ground flue.

5. Ceiling in the house

If the height of the house is too high or the heat preservation effect of the ceiling is not good, you can hang a roof in the house, or lay a layer of thermal insulation cotton felt or straw (rice straw, wheat straw, etc.) on the roof to improve the heat preservation effect and reduce heat loss.

6. Build an insulation shed

At present, some farmers not only absorb the heat of the sun, but also reduce the heat loss of the chicken house by building a plastic film greenhouse on both sides of the outer wall of the chicken house with the help of solar energy, and it can also save energy by about 1cm and 3. at the same time, avoid cold stress caused by cold wind blowing directly into the chicken coop.

7. Air stove heating

Among all the heating methods, the warm air stove has the highest thermal efficiency and rapid heating, which can meet the temperature needs of the chicken house to the maximum extent. The temperature difference between the exhaust gas discharged from the house in winter and the supplementary fresh air is large, so the waste heat of the waste gas has a certain utilization value. Therefore, in order to solve the contradiction between ventilation and heat preservation, the waste heat heating stove in the waste gas can be used to reduce the waste of energy and improve the efficiency of breeding.

8. Promote the hoisting chimney

If the stove is used for heating, the circulation length of the chimney in the house should be extended as far as possible, so that the heat generated by coal combustion can be distributed in the chicken house as far as possible, so as to reduce the waste of heat energy. Generally speaking, the length of chimney is about 20 meters.

9. Install the air duct

An air duct with a diameter of 16 cm ~ 18 cm and a length of 3.5 m ~ 4 m is installed on both sides of the longitudinal wall of the chicken house every 4 meters, and installed along the roof, using lightweight materials such as plastic, polyvinyl chloride and fiberglass, which can help to control the minimum ventilation rate and reduce the stress response of chickens.

10. Install the thermostat

The temperature and ventilation of the chicken house are controlled by the thermostat to achieve the minimum ventilation management, which can not only make the temperature of the chicken house meet the needs of normal growth and development of chickens, but also save coal, but also reduce the stress of cold air on chickens.
