On June 14, the author walked into the grape planting base of Yingzhong Village, Liuchang Township, Xifeng County, where more than 900 mu of grapes extended along the road, with sturdy grape vines on mud piles and palm-like grape leaves growing around them. A mention of grape ears sucking the sun greedily is interpreting the bitterness of Yingzhong Village in the past and the sweetness of the present.

From experience to real "gold"

Although it is only 3 kilometers away from the town, the former Yingzhong village seldom makes use of this location advantage, and the barren soil, drought and little rain are the biggest obstacles to the development of the village. Before 2012, corn and rice were still the leading crops here. There are more than 300 households in the village, and everyone runs out after the Spring Festival. "in an age and village where there is no industry, how dare we talk about development?" Zheng Chaoquan, branch secretary of Yingzhong Village, recalled.

In 2012, the horn of agricultural industrial restructuring sounded again in Liuchang Township. Yingzhong Village got on this "bus". After returning from an inspection trip to Anshun Pingba and on-site investigation by technicians in the agricultural department, Yingzhong Village planted grapes in the village. "the development of fruit planting is one of the few in our village, and we are all very enthusiastic, but because of the single selection of grape seedlings, the barren soil, and the heavy rain that year, the grapes in the village were destroyed." Li Kaixiang of Lijiawan Group in Yingzhong Village told me.

Heaven does not come at the right time, and the earth does not lend money. This is undoubtedly even worse for the development of Yingzhong Village. Seeing that the village in the camp, which was just about to start, was about to "die young." while Zheng Chaoquan felt sad, he felt more unwilling. After multi-party docking and coordination in the village, the grape seedling company replaced several different grape seedlings, and suggested that farmers transport their own agricultural dung to the field to increase soil fertility, and the village organized farmers to participate in grape planting technical training in their leisure time.

In July 2015, "Wujianghong" grapes were harvested for the first time in Yingzhong Village, Liuchang Township. At the tasting meeting, Wujianghong, Xiahei, Shuiyuhong and other varieties and natural pollution-free grapes attracted tourists. After yield measurement and acceptance by relevant experts from Guizhou University, Guizhou Forestry Department, Guiyang Agricultural Committee and other superior departments, it is considered that the average weight per panicle of the newly produced summer black grape is 0.5kg, the sugar content is 16.3%, and the yield per mu is equivalent to 1254.9 kg. Calculated at the current market price of 12 yuan / kg, the output value per mu is 15058.8 yuan. Early red honey (Rain Water Hong) the average weight per ear of grape is 0.4kg, the sugar content is 14.1%, which is equivalent to 959.34 kg per mu, which is calculated at the current market price of 10 yuan / kg, with an output value of 9593.4 yuan per mu. From the vine to the mouth, the grape in Yingzhong Village has undergone a transformation from learning from classics to real "gold".

When it comes to the leader of the grape industry in the village, Zheng Chaoquan can't help thinking of Huang Yonghua of the Xiazhai formation and Li Kaixiang of the Lijiawan formation.

In the scorching sun, Huang Yonghua was busy with his wife in his vineyard. Huang Yonghua told me that after returning home for the Spring Festival in 2011, the 43-year-old was determined to develop the grape industry with the village. Since February 2012, Huang Yonghua has not only planted all his land, but also transferred the land in the village. by now his family has planted more than 20 mu of grapes.

"the greatest advantages of grapes in the village are many varieties, long picking time, seedless, crisp skin, purple-black luster, and can be placed for a long time." speaking of the advantages of grapes, Huang Yonghua says that you can eat grapes for nearly half a year and celebrate the Grape Festival in Yingzhong Village. The summer black grapes he planted only began to hang fruit last year, with more than 400 jin of grapes and an income of more than 2000 yuan. this year, nearly 6 mu of grapes are hanging fruit, with an expected yield of more than 10, 000 jin and an income of more than 60, 000 yuan.

In addition to large families like Huang Yonghua, there are many meticulous tillers of less than 1 mu in the village. Li Kaixiang is such a representative. In 2012, he adapted measures to local conditions and planted grapes in his own 7-cent field. Because of the good selection of varieties and good management skills, he also achieved a bumper harvest of more than 2000 jin and 14000 yuan last year. Now he is a local expert in grape cultivation in the village, and constantly trains villagers in various new planting techniques. "it is also a matter for us ordinary people to shake off poverty and become rich. Using our own skills to help us grow good grapes and lead more people to become rich is worthy of the title of 'local expert'," says Li Kaixiang.

"for so many years, I never dreamed that this barren land could lift myself out of poverty and become rich." this is the common feeling of Huang Yonghua and Li Kaixiang. Now in Yingzhong Village, the villagers have mastered the planting technology, and many farmers in the village who have labor and land are the "bosses" of grape plantation. they have the contact number for sales, coupled with the unique advantages of grapes, grapes are in short supply soon after ripening.

Grapes do not speak, the bottom of the Seikei. Now grapes are quietly changing Yingzhong Village. 98% of Yingzhong Village's villagers participated in the industrial restructuring in 2015, and now grape cultivation has reached 965 mu. Last year, the output of Wujianghong grape in the township reached more than 60,000 jin, with an output value of more than 300000 yuan, while Yingzhong Village accounted for more than 200,000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers increased from 6500 yuan in 2014 to more than 10000 yuan today.

The well digger behind the grapes

"I am glad to see the villagers increase their income and become rich!" There is no excitement in the past, only silent giving and help. Zheng Chaoquan, a branch secretary of Yingzhong Village, says that after the grapes in the village have experienced life and death, he has always wanted to thank the tightly United party members and cadres and the silent support of the masses in the village.

Give full play to the role of the party organization as a fighting fortress and promote the development of the grape industry by party building. This is the fundamental reason for the change and development of Yingzhong Village. Yingzhong Village has 33 party members, the construction of the party branch is sound, and the village affairs are open, timely and transparent. After the grape planting disaster, in order to strengthen the confidence of the masses, the village immediately held a general meeting of branch and party members to mobilize party members of the whole village to do their work door to door. "Party member meetings have been held dozens of times, and mass meetings have been held more than a dozen times." Zheng Chaoquan said that he should not be ashamed of his trust in the masses. in order to convince the masses, he first planted three mu of grapes on his land, and then the village party members also took the lead in planting them. Today's grape fields are still marked with "Party member demonstration households" at that time.

With the leadership of Zheng Chaoquan, in recent years, the party branch of Yingzhong Village has been rated as an advanced unit for the construction of grass-roots party organizations in Guizhou Province, Guiyang City, and Xifeng County, an advanced party organization for excellence, and a "five good" grass-roots party organization. "but after all, the honor is over, and the village is now preparing to set up a 'Wujianghong' cooperative, and at the same time transfer the land of farmers who have no labor force, and adopt the way that farmers buy shares, so that more villagers can increase their income and become rich." Zheng Chaoquan said that in addition, it will also strive for policy support, combined with grape picking time in the village to develop industry + tourism economy, the development of rural hotels. According to statistics, there are already two houses in the village that can be directly built into hotels.

The economy is growing and the masses are getting rich. The development of the grape industry has enabled Yingzhong Village to catch up with the express bus in the era of beautiful rural construction. on June 4 this year, Yingzhong Village's beautiful rural construction plan passed the evaluation. Yingzhong Village Xiazhai Group was officially built as a "enhanced" demonstration site for beautiful villages at the Xifeng county level in 2016, and strived for 5.5495 million yuan in project funds. The spring breeze of the times is coming, and Yingzhong Village is about to write new changes in agricultural industry, housing style, rural style, local culture and infrastructure, and ecological greening.
