Later, with the help of experts, Zhang Xunzhao visited more than 20 townships and more than 50 farmers along the Tuhai River and found 30 purebred Tuhe black pigs. At the end of 2007, Zhang Xunzhao invested more than 3 million yuan to specialize in breeding Tuhe black pigs and established the original breeding farm of Tuhe black pigs, which became the first conservation base of Tuhe black pigs in China.

To a large extent, the health and quality of pork is determined by the breeding process. Zhang Xunzhao said that after four seasons and eating grain, the pork has a natural original flavor. In order to maximize the innate good quality of Tuhe black pig, Zhang Xunzhao fully respected the natural attribute of Tuhe black pig, let Tuhe black pig grow naturally, and the farm established an organic feed production base. At the same time, the traditional Chinese medicine was added to the feed to prevent and control the epidemic disease, and the traditional Chinese medicine prescription was used to treat pig disease. It took one year to raise the pig to ensure the original flavor of Tuhe black pig.

Although Tuhe black pig tastes tender, it has more fat meat. In order to reduce the fat of pork, Zhang Xunzhao specially designed hurdles, licking wooden stakes, playing ball, swimming and other sports for Tuhe black pig. Each Tuhe black pig runs hurdles, diving and swimming every day, which not only improves its own physical resistance, but also increases the lean meat rate, making the muscle fiber of Tuhe black pork more slender and the meat more delicious.

Many citizens who have bought Tu he black pork will find that Tu he black pork is frozen meat, not common cold fresh meat. In fact, this is also a strange way for Zhang Xunzhao to sell meat, and it is done on purpose. Zhang Xunzhao said that bacteria and viruses multiply rapidly in pork at room temperature. In order to solve this problem, the Tuhe Black Pig adopted the common practice in Europe and the United States to remove acid and poison 24 hours before slaughter, freeze the meat to minus 35 degrees Celsius, freeze most of the bacteria and viruses to death, and then cut them into vacuum bags. Therefore, Tuhe Black Pig is also a domestic supplier of aseptic fresh meat. Zhang Xunzhao has 7 national invention patents in the breeding and development of Tuhe black pigs, and the products have 7 series and more than 60 varieties. Tuhe Black Pig has successively obtained the National Geographic indication protection products and the Ministry of Agriculture organic food certification. More than 30 Tuhe black pig stores have been established in Beijing, Shanghai and Jinan.
