Pleurotus eryngii is a special edible fungus in the subtropical prairie. Pleurotus eryngii strains isolated or introduced from different countries or different regions of the same country and different ecological environments have different biological characteristics, that is to say, there are many different ecotypes. Special attention should be paid to cultivation. Let's take a look at the video of Pleurotus eryngii cultivation technology.

Cultivation season of Pleurotus eryngii

Under natural conditions, according to the suitable growth temperature of Pleurotus eryngii, it is generally suitable to be cultivated in autumn, winter and spring, but in areas with high temperature in winter, it is better to produce mushrooms from December to February, because the temperature is too high or too low to form primordium. it is not conducive to the growth and development of fruiting bodies. Therefore, the appropriate mushroom emergence period should be arranged according to the suitable temperature in both the south and the north, and the cultivation bag should be made 50 days in advance when the air temperature drops to 18 ℃. If there are conditions, cold storage can also be used for off-season cultivation in summer, and the economic benefit is higher.

Cultivation methods of Pleurotus eryngii

The cultivation methods of Pleurotus eryngii include bottle cultivation, box cultivation, column cultivation and plastic bag cultivation. Some people abroad think that it is necessary to cover soil on the basis of the above cultivation methods, but in fact, it is not necessary. Plastic bag cultivation is the most convenient and applicable method in our country.

Preparation of mushroom bag of Pleurotus eryngii

1. Nutrition formula: ① sawdust 73%, wheat bran 25%, lime 1%, gypsum 1%, water content 60% Mui 65%. ② cottonseed hull 88%, wheat bran 10%, lime 1%, gypsum 1%, water content 60% Mui 65%.

2. Bagging and sterilizing: put the culture material into a bacterial bag (22 cm × 45 cm) as required, seal it and put it into a sterilizing pot to sterilize, first use a fierce fire to raise the temperature in the pot to 100 degrees Celsius to start timing, 8-12 hours after being bored for 4-5 hours, then take out the material bag.

3. Inoculation culture: when the material bag is cooled to room temperature, it is inoculated in a sterilized inoculation box (room), and the inoculation amount is 5% Mur10%. The inoculated bacterial bag is sent to the sterilized culture room for culture, and the room temperature should be controlled between 20 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius. In about 30 days, the hyphae can grow full of bags, and then move to the mushroom room to produce mushrooms. The culture room should be dark, ventilated and not damp.

4. row bags to promote mushrooms: set up a cultivation rack in the mushroom room, stack the cultivated bags horizontally on the shelf or on the ground, and sprinkle water on the ground to increase the humidity in the mushroom room when the temperature drops to 10-18 degrees Celsius. The scattered light in the mushroom room should be strong and the light is bright.

Management of mushroom emergence of Pleurotus eryngii

1. Temperature control: the temperature range for the formation and growth of Pleurotus eryngii fruiting body is narrow, and it is very sensitive to temperature. The most suitable temperature for mushroom production is 15 degrees Celsius-17 degrees Celsius, which should be strictly controlled.

2. Humidity regulation: during the period of fruiting body growth, the humidity in the mushroom room is lower than that in the early stage, and it is appropriate to keep it at about 85%. When moisturizing, mainly water the ground, do not spray water on the fruiting body and on the mouth of the bag.

3. Light management: keep the light in the mushroom room bright and scattered (no direct sunlight).

4. Ventilation: open the door (window) about 2-3 times a day, each time about half an hour.

5. Timely harvest: it takes about 10 days from primordium formation to harvest, when the diameter of the fruiting body cap reaches 4 cm-6 cm (the cap is eight separate). After harvest, cover the mouth of the bag with paper and stop spraying water. After about 5 days, spray water to increase humidity to induce the growth of the second crop of mushrooms. The yield of Pleurotus eryngii is mainly concentrated in the first crop, with a maximum weight of 600 grams per clump and an average yield of 500 grams per bag. After the second crop, the amount of mushroom production decreased.
