Xiang Pig is a mammal of Artiodactyla, which is famous for its small, precocious body and delicious meat. It is most famous for Congjiang Xiang Pig and Jianbai Xiang Pig awarded by the State Agriculture Department in Southeast Guizhou and Bama Xiang Pig in Guangxi near Guizhou Southeast Guizhou, as well as Huanjiang Xiang Pig and Tibetan Xiang Pig, which are all dwarf pigs.

The slaughtering rate of fattening Xiang pig is 63.6%, and the lean meat rate is 52.2%.

Congjiang pig is very short, with straight head, shallow and few wrinkles on the forehead, inverted eight-shaped shape, no curl, a circle of hairless dizziness around the eyes, black coat, sparse and shiny, and a small amount of tail, four hooves, and white forehead. Thin skin and bones, round and pointed mouth, pink or black snout, small and thin ears, slightly flat or drooping on both sides, short body, broad and concave back, large and round abdomen, touching the ground, plump hindquarters, thin and short limbs, upright forelimbs, multi-recumbent hindlimbs, 6 pairs of nipples.

Jianbai Xiang Pig is not only a famous miniature pig in the world, but also a national second-class rare protected animal, which is mainly produced in the jungle shanzhai of Jianhe County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and its staple food is wild plants. Scientists pay close attention to its unique pork flavor, tenderness, pure nature and no pollution. Identified by experts, Jianbai Xiang pig is rich in essential amino acids and trace elements for human body.

Bama Xiang Pig, which originated in Bama Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi, is a local miniature pig breed with a long feeding history and stable genetic genes, good quality and rare. In March 1995, Bama went down in history as a local specialty after it was named "the hometown of fragrant pigs in China" by the National Specialty Economic Committee. Bama Xiang pig is wild and precocious, handsome in appearance, short, short and round, extensive breeding, strong adaptability and disease resistance. The general utilization life of breeding sows is eight years, and the longest is 14 years.

Tibetan Xiang pig, also known as ginseng pig, is also known as "Potentilla pig" because it often feeds on Potentilla anserina in Gannan and Minxian areas of Gansu Province. it is an ancient livestock resource unique to the West Sichuan Plateau, Yunnan, Xizang, Gannan and Minxian, and belongs to foreign animal husbandry. The main origin is Aba Prefecture in Sichuan, Ganzi Prefecture, Shangri-La in Yunnan, Xizang Linzhi, Gannan and Minxian in Gansu.
