Pig feed is usually composed of protein feed, energy feed, roughage, green fodder, silage, mineral feed and feed additives, which are divided into full price feed, concentrated feed and premix according to category. Let's take a look!

Full price material

The full price material is composed of protein feed, energy feed, roughage and additives. the full price material sold in the market is mainly granulated by machine processing, and part of it is puffed granule, which can be directly used to feed the feeding object and can fully meet the nutritional needs of the feeding object.

Concentrated material

The concentrated material is premixed with protein raw materials and additives, and the energy material needs to be added during feeding, which has the advantage of convenient use and is suitable for farmers with large scale, especially for farmers who have their own energy feed such as corn. at present, there are at least 50 kinds of concentrated materials on the market.

Premix

Premix is the abbreviation of additive premixed feed, which is the proportion of one or more trace components (including various trace mineral elements, vitamins, synthetic amino acids, some drugs and other additives) with diluents or carriers according to the requirements. the intermediate compound feed product made by uniform mixing is an important component of full-price formula feed.

Nutrition classification

Additives: refer to all kinds of non-nutritional additive raw materials and their prepared products which are used to strengthen the feeding effect and are beneficial to the production and storage of compound feed. Such as a variety of antibiotics, antioxidants, anti-mildew agents, binders, colorants, flavor enhancers and health care and metabolic regulation drugs and so on.
