Bovine conjunctivitis is a general term for the inflammatory response of conjunctival tissue caused by external and body factors. Cuttage therapy is to select peach or willow branches with a length of 17 cm and a diameter of 3 mm. Insert the Shunqi acupoint (the opening of the nasopalatine canal) of the cow, and treat the disease through massage and stimulation. Let's take a look at the cuttage therapy of bovine conjunctivitis.

Case 1 of bovine conjunctivitis

A 3-year-old cattle was diagnosed as conjunctivitis with clinical symptoms of loss of spirits, loss of appetite, mild fever, conjunctival congestion and swelling. The livestock owner was instructed to take two peach branches about 5 mm in diameter, peel off the bark, cut off two segments about 5 inches long, insert the left and right Shun cavitation of the diseased cow respectively, and be treated with antibiotics, and the diseased cow recovered after 3 days.

Case 2 of bovine conjunctivitis

One female buffalo fell ill and the owner was ineffective in using antibiotics. The author went for diagnosis and treatment. The sick cow is mentally exhausted, has no appetite, cannot afford to lie on the ground for a long time, and its right eye is swollen and completely covered with purulent secretions. The author took the willow branches, peeled off the bark, cut off a section about 7 inches long, inserted the left Shunqi hole of the diseased cattle, continued to inject antibiotics to reduce inflammation, and the symptoms of the diseased cattle were gradually alleviated and recovered after 7 days.

Case 3 of bovine conjunctivitis

After the onset of the disease, a buffalo showed symptoms such as congestion in both eyes, slight swelling, inflammatory secretion, loss of appetite, loss of energy and so on. The author took two branches of peach trees, peeled off the skin and arranged them to a suitable size, and inserted the left and right Shun cavitation of the diseased cow respectively. Without the use of other treatment methods, the diseased cow gradually recovered.

Matters needing attention in cuttage therapy

1. To find the location of the Shunqi hole, insert it into the branch quickly.

2. The branches used should not be too thick, generally with a diameter of about 5 mm, and the smaller the difference in thickness between the two ends of the branch, the better.

3. The length of the branch should be determined according to the size of the cow, usually 5-7 inches. If it is really impossible to grasp, you can refer to the length from the corner of the cow's mouth to the corner of the eye.

4. The branches should be used now, and no treatment measures need to be taken after they are inserted into the bovine body, and they will come off by themselves after the disease is cured.

5. Mild patients can be used alone, and severe patients need to be treated with western medicine in order to speed up the recovery of the disease.

Conclusion: cuttage therapy can not only treat conjunctivitis, but also has a good effect on common cold and some digestive tract diseases. It can be tried out in production.
