How do goldfish reproduce?

1. Seed selection: the quality of goldfish species has a direct impact on the quality of its next generation. 2-year-old goldfish with strong physique, pure variety and good characters should be selected as species. Such goldfish are fully mature and energetic. The male and female of goldfish can be distinguished by observing the "chasing star" of goldfish. "chasing star" is the large white convex grain of sesame growing on the top of the Gill cover and dorsal fin of male fish. Whenever the "chasing star" of male fish is very obvious during the breeding period of goldfish, some males do not "chase stars", indicating that their development is not mature enough and should not be selected as fish species. When the female is mature, the abdomen is often dilated and followed by the male.

2. Spawning: after the breeding fish are selected, they should be carefully fed in a large tank, and the appetite of the female fish begins to lose before spawning. A bunch of aquatic plants such as anchovy should be put in the tank, or old brown or hemp shreds can be used instead. When the weather is clear, under the stimulation of male chase, the female lays her eggs on aquatic plants at about 6: 7 in the morning. After two hours, the female fish that have laid eggs should be fished out and raised separately, so as not to eat the eggs. Fish tanks with males also need to change all the water to prevent the secretions left by females from polluting the water quality and leading to the death of fish eggs.

3. Hatching: fish eggs together with aquatic plants are fished out, put into another tank and placed in a ventilated and sunny place. When the water temperature was 13-20 ℃, the transparency of fish eggs decreased gradually after two or three days, and a black spot appeared at the same time. After 3-5 days, the black spot expanded into a circle, indicating that the juvenile fish began to develop. In a few days, the little goldfish will hatch.

4, bait: small fish just hatched, if small needle tip, the body is black, do not eat or move, attached to the bottom of the cylinder, cylinder wall or aquatic plants, at this time to ensure a quiet environment, do not rush to take out the aquatic plants. After four or five days, you can wrap the boiled egg yolk with gauze and squeeze out the egg yolk water to feed the small fish 2 or 3 times a day.
