The snake is the general name of the reptile with degenerated limbs, the whole body is full of treasures, and the market for snake meat and snake products is good. Artificial raising of snakes has also become a good way for farmers' friends and laid-off workers to shake off poverty and become rich. Successful experts believe that "it is better to raise a snake than to raise a group of chickens." the common breeds of breeding are cobras, hydro snakes, king snakes and so on. Let's take a look at what snake farming projects have!

King snake

The king snake is a kind of large non-venomous snake that is very common in the temperate zone, the scientific name is Wang Jinhe, also known as cauliflower snake, snake king, smelly yellow jaws and so on. It preys on its own strong body and strong winding power, and gets its name because of the pattern like the word Wang on its head. The snake has many advantages, such as cold resistance, strong adaptability, fast growth, short feeding cycle, easy feeding and hatching and so on. Many snake farms or snake farmers, especially in the northern provinces and regions, take it as the breeding object of non-poisonous snakes.

Cobra

Cobra is a general term for animals of the genus Cobra. Although the names of many other snakes in the world include the name "cobra" (such as king cobra, water cobra, salivary snake), they do not belong to this genus because of their lack of evolutionary kinship. At present, there are more than 20 identified species of the genus Cobra, but there are often arguments about the independence of species in taxonomy, so some data may be different.

Mouse snake

The mouse snake is commonly known as black meat snake, grass brocade snake, long standard snake, water law snake, mountain snake and so on. It is a non-venomous snake of the genus Serpent, which has a yellowish brown back and irregular black stripes on the back of the body. It is mainly distributed in the south of China, living in mountains, hills and plains below 800 meters above sea level. Snakes are ferocious and attack fast, preying on rats, toads, frogs, lizards and other snakes. It hibernates from November to March of the following year and lays eggs from May to July. The number of eggs is 715. Each adult female snake lays 12 eggs per year.

Agkistrodon acutus

Agkistrodon acutus is a poisonous monotype of Agkistrodon acutus under the subfamily Viperidae. Agkistrodon acutus has only one species of Agkistrodon acutus, also known as hundred-step snake, five-step snake, seven-step snake, Agkistrodon acutus, mountain valley snake, hundred flower snake, Chinese Agkistrodon acutus and so on. It is a very famous snake species in Asia, especially in Taiwan and South China since ancient times.

Zaocys dhumnades

Black snakes, also known as black snakes, black wind snakes, etc., are large snakes of the genus Zaoceridae, which are widely distributed and belong to non-venomous snakes. They mainly live in hilly areas and feed on frogs (staple food), lizards, fish and rodents. Due to habitat destruction and a large number of human hunting, the number of living in the wild is greatly reduced and is in urgent need of protection. Black snakes grow fast, have strong adaptability, high disease resistance, and sell well in the market, so they are very suitable for artificial breeding.

Red snake

Red training snake, also known as fire red chain snake, red spot snake, mulberry root snake, etc., is a kind of poisonous snake of the family Serpidae, which is widely distributed in China. It is distributed in all provinces (regions) except western Inner Mongolia and Xizang. Feed on toads, frogs, lizards, fish, rats, snakes, birds, animal carcasses, etc., with tree holes, grave holes, ground holes or stone piles, tiles as nests.

Silver ring snake

Gentle temperament, generally seldom take the initiative to bite, but in spawning hatching, or alarm will suddenly attack and bite people, will prey on Loach, eel and frogs, but also eat a variety of fish, rodents, lizards and other snakes.

Python

The python is one of the more primitive snake species in the world today. There is a small claw mark on both sides of its anus, which is the remnant of the degenerated hind limb. Although this hind limb can no longer walk, it can still move freely, with black body color and cloud markings. There is a chloasma on the back and a yellow stripe on each side. It is now a wild animal under national first-class protection and feeds on meat.

It lives in plains, hilly areas, trees, field sides and roadsides and other places close to water sources, in addition to food, it has high medical value. The provenance is easy to obtain and the breeding method is not difficult. It is a new type of aquaculture for the masses to get rich.

Chinese water snake

Chinese water snakes, also known as Chinese water snakes, mud snakes, etc., generally live in streams, ponds, paddy fields or canals in plains, hills or foothills, with an upper limit of about 320m above sea level. They are rich in EPA, which is one of the main components of snake oil. Chinese water snake is the national "three have" (beneficial, important economic value and scientific research value) protection animals, and it is also a key protected animal in Hunan Province, which is not allowed to be sold or eaten.

King Cobra

Although the king cobra is called "king cobra", it is different from the real cobra. It is not a member of the genus cobra, but belongs to the independent king cobra genus. It is often found in southwest and southern China, and usually lives in grasslands, open slopes and forests. The main food of the king cobra is the similar ── other snakes, so it is rare to see other kinds of snakes in the king cobra territory, which is extremely poisonous.

The brown and black golden snake is large, edible, pharmaceutical and industrial products, so it has been killed in large numbers, and wild species have been listed as endangered species. Artificial breeding in China used to be only a small amount of artificial breeding in Hubei, has been improved, some areas have achieved artificial reproduction, but also become one of the hot in the hands of pet snake players.
