A crocodile is not a fish, but a cold-blooded egg-laying reptile of the family Alligator, Crocodile, and Alligator, whose name is derived from playing in the water like a fish. it is one of the earliest and most primitive animals ever found alive, appeared in the Mesozoic era from the Triassic to the Cretaceous (about 200 million years ago), and was at the same time as the dinosaurs. Crocodiles are wild animals with high ecological value, scientific value and economic value, so some countries in the world actively develop crocodile breeding industry.

According to archaeological findings, the largest crocodile is 15 meters long and weighs nearly 1.5 tons, but the existing large crocodiles have an average body length of more than 3 meters and weigh more than 100 kilograms, with strong jaws, many conical teeth, short legs, claws, webbed toes, long and thick tails, and thick skin with scaly nails. People think of crocodiles as "evil fish". At the mention of crocodiles, they immediately think of big mouths, dense sharp teeth, hard armor, and an air of being ready to eat people.

Crocodiles live in fresh water. Except for a few living in temperate zones, crocodiles mostly live in rivers, lakes and watery swamps in tropical and subtropical regions, and some live in shoals near the coast. They mainly feed on fish, waterfowl, hares, deer and frogs. They are carnivores. In fact, crocodiles are very sensitive animals, which are even more sensitive than humans think, and saltwater crocodiles are more dangerous than their close relatives, freshwater crocodiles.

The crocodile nests in the tree-lined hills along the freshwater river. it sweeps out a platform of 7 to 8 meters with a diameter of 3 meters. The nest is about 4 meters away from the river and is shaded by leaves. Each nest has about 50 white hard-shell eggs with a size of about 80 × 55 mm. The female crocodile waits on the side of the nest, constantly swinging its tail and watering the nest, keeping the temperature at 30: 33 ℃ and hatching for 75 to 90 days. The young alligator shell is 240mm long, can grow to 480mm in 1 year, 1156 mm in 3 years and weigh 5.2kg.
