Plant creeping growth, can also be suspended culture, leaf growth dense under strong light, will be more beautiful, let's take a look at the new jade affix culture method!

Growth habits of new jade affixes

The new jade affix plant creeps and can also be suspended for culture. the leaves grow densely under strong light and will be more beautiful, and will grow in vain if left in a place with insufficient light for too long. Generally speaking, except for the strong light at noon in hot summer, no matter half-day or all-day sunshine, as long as there is sunshine, the new jade affixes will grow vigorously. The new jade affixation is a drought-tolerant plant and likes soil with good drainage.

Propagation methods of new jade affixes

The new jade affixes are mainly propagated by leaves and cuttings, and the fallen new jade affixes can be propagated again. The cultivation method is quite simple. Spread it evenly in the basin like a seed, then do not water it first, wait for the leaves to take root before watering, then hang it on the balcony where there is plenty of sunshine, water it only when the medium is dry, apply fertilizer once a season, do not apply too much fertilizer, be careful when planting it, do not touch it often. Because its leaves are super easy to fall off, it should also be watered on the soil when watering, and try not to water its leaves, because the leaves are easy to fall off because of watering and touching.

The culture method of new jade affix

1. Soil: the new jade affix is a drought-tolerant plant. It likes soil with good drainage. Poor drainage can easily cause root rot. The cultivated soil can be mixed with 1:1 coarse sand and cultivated soil, or mixed with 2:1:1 cultivated soil, vermiculite and coarse sand. Or you can directly use cactus special soil.

2. Temperature: the new jade affix likes the environment with large temperature difference between day and night, and the optimum growth temperature is between 10 and 32 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 4 ℃ or higher than 33 ℃, it will enter dormancy and stop growing. If the temperature is close to 0 ℃, it will be frostbitten or frozen to death. So pay attention to air circulation in summer, add shade to avoid high temperature at noon, and move to the sunny place indoors to avoid the cold when the low temperature is below 5 ℃ in winter.

3. Watering: the new jade affixation can make the new jade affixation feel comfortable when the relative humidity is 40-60%. Usually, you can wait until the soil begins to dry and water thoroughly every other month or so, subject to the beginning of dripping from the bottom hole of the flowerpot. The leaves should be avoided when watering, so as not to rot because of stagnant water for too long, pay attention to the basin bottom can not accumulate water. Watering should be reduced during dormant periods and low temperatures in winter, while watering times should be slightly increased in summer.

4. Fertilization: the new jade affixes only need to apply light liquid potash and phosphate fertilizer once a month to grow beautifully, and the application of liquid fertilizer is also calculated as a watering. New jade affixes should not be applied with nitrogen fertilizer, because nitrogen fertilizer will cause them to absorb too much water, so that the stems and leaves become fragile because of storing too much water.
