It is suitable to grow in an environment with plenty of sunshine and air circulation, and the soil requirements are not strict. Let's take a look at the planting techniques of rose.

Cuttage Propagation of Rose

The cuttage propagation of big flower rose generally cuts the mature branches with 3 to 4 buds when dormant in early spring or late autumn. if the tender wood cuttings should be shaded properly, and keep the seedbed moist. It can take root in 30 days after cutting, and the survival rate is 70% to 80%. If the rooting powder is dipped in the branch when cutting, the survival rate is higher.

Cutting Management of Rosa chinensis

1. Greenhouse shading: the best temperature for rooting of Rosa chinensis is 20 ℃ to 25 ℃. During the cutting period, greenhouse shading is needed. Plastic shed can adjust the temperature and humidity of soil and air. Sunshade net can prevent direct sunlight and reduce temperature. Excessive temperature can not only cover sunshade net, but also water cooling and ventilation cooling.

2. Timely watering: the cuttings of Rosa chinensis have not yet germinated leaves in the early stage of cuttage, and the water supply should not be too much. It can be watered once every 7 to 10 days. After a month, the panicle began to take root and shoot, and the water consumption increased gradually, which should be irrigated every 3 to 5 days. The amount of water should be determined according to soil moisture and air humidity, so that the soil is moderately dry and wet.

3. Rational fertilization: the amount of fertilizer needed for cuttings of big flower rose is not large, and basic fertilizer has been applied during soil preparation, so there is no need for soil fertilization before seedling transplanting, but foliar fertilization should be carried out. That is, after cutting for one month, 0.3% urea liquid fertilizer and 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate liquid fertilizer are used in turn every half a month for foliar fertilization to promote rooting.

Cultivation and management of big flower rose

1. Cultivation area: large flower rose is a light-loving plant. In the process of cultivation, sunny land should be selected to avoid planting in the shade of tall buildings, trees and hillsides. The ideal soil for cultivating large flower rose should have good aggregate structure and rich in organic matter.

2. Plant spacing: the plant-row spacing of large flower rose varies according to the purpose of cultivation. The row spacing of 150 cm × 80 cm is commonly used in variety nursery for breeding or scientific research.

3. Reasonable pruning: the seedlings should be pruned before planting, the damaged branches, diseased branches and weak branches should be cut off, and the damaged or overlong root system should also be cut off. After pruning, the wound should be smeared with callus anticorrosive film to make the wound heal quickly.

4. Water and fertilizer management: big rose likes fertilizer, especially organic fertilizer, such as barnyard manure, compost and so on. The flowering period is long. In the process of its growth, attention should be paid to topdressing chemical fertilizer for quick effect. In addition to maintaining sufficient water and fertilizer, spraying Flower Zhuangtiling at the flower bud stage can promote strong buds, hypertrophy of petals, gorgeous flower color, rich flower fragrance and prolonged flowering period.
