Growth habit

Distribution range

Camphor trees adapt to an altitude of less than 1800 meters above sea level, and can reach 1000 meters above sea level in the south and southwest of the Yangtze River. they mainly grow on sunny slopes, valleys and riparian flatlands with fertile soil in the subtropics. It is produced in the south and southwest of China, and is also distributed in Vietnam, Korea and Japan. It is often introduced in other countries. Yibin area of Sichuan Province has the widest growing area, and the main breeding bases are Shuyang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places.
