How do you water the fragrant wood?

The fragrant wood has luxuriant branches and leaves, and the water evaporates quickly, so it needs to be watered frequently, but the soil surface should be dry before watering, and it is difficult to loosen the soil. At the same time, fragrant wood should not be watered too frequently, once every 3 or 5 days, each time must be thoroughly watered, that is, the water must wet the bottom, too much watering will rot the roots. If the plant already has the phenomenon of water shortage and wilting, it can be watered immediately regardless of the soil condition.

How to trim the fragrant wood?

The sprouting power of fragrant wood is relatively strong, and it is very resistant to pruning. Because the plant grows slowly and is well shaped, through professional pruning technology, proper pruning and nursing according to the growth trend of planted branches, potted plants with strong ornamental ability can be made, which exudes the flavor of antiquity. How does fragrant wood reproduce?

1. Sowing and reproduction: when the seeds of fragrant wood begin to show signs of maturity, the seeds are picked back from the tree in time. The collected seeds must be prepared immediately, and the fruits must be piled up, mashed the peel, washed in water, threshed and abandoned, and stored in a ventilated and dry place. The sowing season can be in spring and autumn, and the germination rate of autumn sowing is higher than that of spring sowing. Before sowing, soak the selected seeds in warm water with an initial temperature of about 20 ℃ for 24 hours. the seeds absorb water and swell and sprout under warm and humid conditions. The general seed consumption is 6 kg per mu.

2. Cutting propagation: fragrant wood can be cut in spring and autumn. During the dormant period, one-year-old strong branches of the mother tree are selected and cut into cuttings 1O~15 centimeters long, the upper cut is 1.5cm away from the bud, and the lower cut is 0.3cm away from the bud. The cutting medium should choose the soil with good permeability, medium water holding capacity and neutral or slightly acidic pH value. The substrate should be disinfected before cuttage, and the cuttings should be dipped with ABT rooting powder for 12-24 hours. The cuttings were inserted into the soil about 2pm 3 and covered with plastic film after insertion to improve the air humidity. The cuttings should be carefully managed before rooting and began to take root in about 45 days.
