It generally blossoms from late spring to early summer. After the seeds are ripe in autumn, the germination rate of the same year can reach more than 95%. 1. Seed treatment: before sowing, soak the seeds in a thermos flask with about 50 ℃ of warm water for 12 hours, pour out and stand for 1 hour, then add 0.1% ferrous sulfate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate to the same water temperature, and then soak them in the thermos for 12 hours, then they can be used for sowing.

2. Sowing method: the irontree was sown in pot and covered with soil for 2 cm. Under the high temperature of 30-33 ℃, it could germinate in two weeks, and the seedlings could not be transplanted until 2-4 years later.

Seed treatment: select full seeds for no more than two years, soak them in warm water for about 50 ℃ for 24 hours, then soak them with dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid for 10 minutes, then rinse them with clean water and change water every other day. 2. Sowing method: carry out seed sand storage treatment around December, first sow the prepared seeds into the bed, about 3 cm deep, and then cover the river sand with a thickness of 3 cm. Generally speaking, it takes 4 to 6 months for sand storage, during this period, the appropriate temperature should be maintained at 18 ℃, the relative humidity should be 80% 90%, and the heat preservation should be done well in winter, not less than 12 ℃. In the second year, the seeds germinated from May to June and broke their shells, and from July to August, they germinated and grew a true leaf, which could be transplanted.

1. Culture environment: iron trees should be planted in places with plenty of sunshine, moist warmth and good ventilation. If it is colder in winter, you should wrap the plant in plastic bags and straw bags. Potted plants can cut off most of the branches and leaves and place them in a place where the sun is sheltered from the wind.

2. Timely watering: Tieshu likes moist soil, so it is most beneficial to its growth in loose and fertile slightly acidic sandy soil. When watering, we should grasp the principle of "dry and wet", that is, watering after the soil is dry and there can be no stagnant water in the surrounding soil, otherwise it is easy to cause the root of the iron tree to rot.

3. Rational fertilization: the vigorous stage of growth and reproduction of iron tree needs regular application of fertilizer to ensure the nutritional demand of iron tree. Fertilization is mainly nitrogen fertilizer and potassium fertilizer, and it is better to apply thin fertilizer frequently. In order to make the leaves of the iron tree dark green and glossy, an appropriate amount of ferrous sulfate solution can be added in the process of fertilization.

4. Shaping and pruning: in order to maintain the beautiful and symmetrical shape of the tree, the old yellow leaves of the next year can be trimmed when the new leaves grow every year.

5. Pest control: the branches of the iron tree are relatively hard, and there are few insect pests. If the disease of the shell insect is found, it will be washed and killed manually, or 1% ferrous sulfate will be used to spray its leaves.
