Cedar is one of the world-famous garden ornamental tree species, which has strong dust control, noise reduction and germicidal ability, and is also suitable for greening tree species in industrial and mining enterprises. The tree is tall and graceful, so it is most suitable to be planted alone in the center of the lawn, the center of the vestibule, the center of the square or both sides of the main building and the entrance of the garden gate. The branches of the lower part of the trunk spread flat from near the ground, do not wither all the year round, and can form luxuriant and magnificent crowns. In addition, they are planted on both sides of the garden road to form corridors, which are also very spectacular.

The medicinal use of cedar has a long history, dating back to biblical times. The ancient Egyptians added cedar oil to cosmetics for beauty and as an insect repellent. Natives in the United States also use cedar as a sacred product for medicine and purification rituals. Aromatic oil can also be obtained by distillation. The various benefits of cedar essential oil make it an excellent choice for the treatment of dandruff and rash. It has medical effects such as anti-fat leakage, antisepsis, sterilization, deficiency, convergence, diuresis, menstruation, expectorant, insecticidal and sedative.
