Let's take a look at when Dishui Guanyin will bloom.

Will Dishui Guanyin blossom?

Dripping Guanyin will blossom. Dishui Guanyin is a hot and humid foliage plant, which blossoms only when the temperature and humidity are reached. It is not easy to blossom in the north. Some flower friends ask Dishui Guanyin how many years it will bloom. According to their conservation experience, Guanyin can blossom in the second year, but the time of flowering mostly depends on whether the soil is fertile or not.

When will Dishui Guanyin blossom?

Dishui Guanyin likes to grow in hot and humid environment, usually blooming in winter and spring after October, blooming from February to April, and dormant florescence from November to May and June of the following year. In the north, because the ambient temperature and humidity do not easily meet the requirements of Dishui Guanyin flowering, Dishui Guanyin generally does not blossom in the north. However, if the temperature and humidity of the home meet the blooming requirements of Dishui Guanyin, then Dishui Guanyin will blossom occasionally.

How does dripping Guanyin grow in pots?

1. Substrate: nutritious soil mixed with domestic peat with good drainage and ventilation, 2 ∶ 2 ∶ 1 pond mud, peat soil and coarse sand mixed with a small amount of retted cake fertilizer, mix the peat with water, mix well with water, hold a handful of peat in hand, and water can ooze from the fingers.

2, on the basin: for the re-use of the old basin must be soaked in potassium permanganate 2000 times solution for more than half an hour, and then rinse with clean water, dry for use. Large potted plants are generally planted in pots with a specification of 20 cm. When planting, the substrate is about 4 cm at the bottom of the cup, and then the sieve seedlings are moved into the cup. The seedlings should not be planted too deep, and the base of the flat plant is suitable. The matrix is loose and tight moderately, loaded to 8 minutes of the cup, 2 plants per pot.

3. Spray water: dripping Guanyin especially likes to be wet. During the growing season, not only the basin soil is required to be wet, but also the air humidity is not less than 60%. When it is hot in summer, it is necessary to strengthen water spraying to create a relatively cool and humid environment, which is placed in the indoor air-conditioned hall, not only to ensure that the basin soil is moist, but also to spray water on the leaf surface from time to time. If the room temperature can not reach 15 ℃ in winter, watering should be controlled, otherwise it is easy to cause rotting roots. In general, spraying warm water once a week can keep the leaf color thick green.

4. Fertilization: dripping Guanyin prefers fertilizer. Liquid fertilizer should be applied every half a month from March to October, in which the proportion of nitrogen can be appropriately increased. If you can add a little ferrous sulfate, it is better to make the leaves as big as lotus leaves, smooth and pleasant. Fertilization should be stopped when the temperature is below 15 ℃.

5. Pruning: Dishui Guanyin is a foliage plant. Under the condition of improper planting and maintenance, the largest leaf will appear yellowing and drying up. At this time, it should be cut off with a knife together with the stem, otherwise it will affect the growth and ornamental of other leaves.

6. Change the basin: Dishui Guanyin usually changes the basin once a year in spring, but loosen the soil once a month to keep the basin soil in a good state of permeability.
