An exchange delegation led by Chen Deming, chairman of the Association for Relations across the Taiwan Strait (ARATS), visited the Hon Hai Tucheng Dingpu plant yesterday morning, which was personally received by Hon Hai Chairman Terry Gou.
Chen Deming, co-president of cross-strait relations on the mainland, led the "Association for Relations across the Taiwan Strait Economic and Trade Exchange delegation" to visit Taiwan for eight days and seven nights. In addition to visiting the construction of Taiwan's free economic demonstration zone, he also visited well-known enterprises in Taiwan, including Hon Hai.
The delegation arrived at Hon Hai's Dingpu plant in Tucheng, New Taipei City yesterday morning. Chairman Terry Gou personally received the delegation and led the delegation to visit the nano-optical machine application research and development center, including nano-research and development, electric vehicles, servers and high-precision machinery.
The delegation was originally expected to arrive at the Dingpu plant at 09:25, but it was not until around 09:42 that the delegation, Terry Gou and his entourage arrived. It is expected that the visit itinerary is about 1.5 hours, and the process is not open to the public. After the visit, Hon Hai will hold a farewell party. Dong Guo will present small gifts to Chen Deming and his party, who are visiting from afar.
