The scientific name of Happiness Tree is Bean Tree, which is hot, humid and sunny. It is resistant to high temperature, cold, humid and dry. It is appropriate to use loam and sandy loam with loose and fertile soil, good drainage and rich organic matter. Flowering from May to September, fruit period from October to December, let's take a look at the breeding methods of Happiness Tree.

Sowing and reproduction

At the end of December, when the capsule is nearly dehiscent and the seed is fully mature, the long-striped capsule is harvested, dried, the winged seeds are removed, rubbed, and the fragments of membranous seed wings are removed, and the seeds are dried and stored for sowing in the following spring. It can also be soaked for 2 to 3 hours and then mixed in wet sand, spread thinly in a large plastic basin in the shed, keep the seeds and sand moist, often check to prevent mildew, and then sow seeds after seed germination. The dried seeds were soaked for 3 to 4 hours from March to April, then mixed with sand and sprinkled on the seedbed, lightly covered with thin soil and covered with film to moisturize. After the seeds emerged, the film was removed and shaded. When it grows 2 to 3 true leaves, it can be transplanted with soil mass, or when it grows 4 to 5 large leaves, it can be planted in pot or bag to strengthen the management of water and fertilizer, which can be sold as commercial seedlings in the same year.

Cuttage propagation

From March to April, when the ambient temperature is about 15 ℃, cut 1-2-year-old lignified branches, about 15 cm to 20 cm long, delete all leaves, the lower incision is preferably located at 0.5 cm below the node, and cut them on the sandy soil seedling bed. The cutting depth is about 1 inch 3 to 1 cm 2 with the length of the ear. During the period of undercutting, healing and rooting, water should be sprayed to keep the seedbed moist. After its intact root system, it can be transplanted with soil mass into the pot, preferably 2 to 3 plants co-planted, which can be formed and sold as soon as possible.

Striping propagation

Ring peeling can be carried out from March to April under the nodes of 2-year-old strong branches or stems, and the peeling width is generally 2 to 3 times the diameter of the pressed stem. Under the ring peeling mouth, tie a piece of plastic film of 15cm × 20cm. Using clean, moist peat or sandy loam, squeeze a lump of soil with a diameter of 8 cm to 10 cm at the ring. Then, wrap the soil mass with plastic film, leave a good water port at the upper end, and tie it against the thick trunk to prevent the droop from being broken by the wind. At the end of autumn, after the ring peeling mouth grew a better root system, it was cut off from the mother plant and planted in a pot.
