4. The barracks are unhygienic, especially before giving birth, without washing sows' breasts, or without disinfection or cleaning, resulting in bacteria breeding and mastitis caused by bacteria infection.
5. Less piglets, more breast milk, endless sucking, accumulation of surplus milk, nipple blockage, poor lactation and so on can lead to mastitis.
Symptoms of sow mastitis
1. Breast symptoms of mastitis:
Redness, swelling, pain, heat and dysfunction. At the initial stage of the disease, the sows' breasts are congested, red, swollen, painful, and refuse to breast. if the piglets come into contact with the breasts, the sows will immediately stand or moan, restless, irritated, and messy, and the hateful sows will attack or even eat the piglets (piglets). The lactation of diseased pigs is reduced or poor, and the artificially extruded milk is thick, coagulated or mixed with purulent blood. The breasts of diseased pigs are abnormally swollen. In the later stage, a large number of connective tissue proliferated, the breasts became hard, and even the nipples were closed.
2. Systemic symptoms of sow mastitis:
After the illness, the sows are depressed and have no appetite. Some of the body temperature rises to 40 ℃ ~ 41 ℃. The longer the time is, the more difficult it is to control and recover. The sick sows lose fat quickly, lose weight, and even become dehydrated.
Third, the harm of sow mastitis:
The main results are as follows: 1. After the sow mastitis is cured, the estrus period is prolonged after weaning, and there is no estrus or no estrus.
2. The quality of milk is very poor, piglets have diarrhea, immune decline, easy to secondary diseases.
3. Piglets lose weight and exhaustion due to lack of milk, and even starve to death or die of dehydration.
Fourth, prevention and control of sow mastitis:

② systemic therapy:
A. intramuscular injection: penicillin, streptomycin, gentamicin, enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and sulfonamides, intramuscular injection for 3 to 5 days. The therapeutic effect is better when penicillin and streptomycin or penicillin and neomycin are used together.
B. It is recommended that sows be injected intramuscularly with Jiling or Saifukang 15ml.
