Jasmine likes to be warm and humid, and grows best in a well-ventilated and semi-overcast environment. It is widely cultivated in southern China and around the world. The main ways of propagation are cuttings, striping, tillering and so on. Today, the editor will introduce the method of cutting propagation of jasmine.

Cutting time of Jasmine Flower

1. Autumn cutting: the time is from July to August, usually not more than "the End of Heat", this period of cutting, fast rooting, easy to manage, high survival rate, does not affect the annual flower yield of the mother plant in the same year and the mother plant.

2. Spring planting: it is carried out in March or around "Qingming Festival". If the management is fine, the survival rate can still reach more than 90%.

3. Winter cutting: Jasmine flowers are also cut in winter. Usually, if there is no greenhouse, there is little survival.

Selection and arrangement of cuttings

1. Selection of cuttings: it is better to choose branches that are strong, full and free of diseases and insect pests, and usually use the branches of the next year, that is, the branches with flax color on the skin are the most moderate. Excessive aging, weak regeneration, not easy to take root and sprout. Too young, low nutrient reserves, easy to rot.

2. Cuttage pruning: cut the selected branches into about 10 cm, that is, a branch with 3-4 pairs of leaves as cuttings. The lower cut is 0.2-0.3 cm close to the proximal section to facilitate healing and rooting; the upper cut saves 0.5 cm to avoid dehydration of the cut, resulting in the dryness of the bud. The inclination of the cut should be 40-45 degrees.

3. Arrangement of cuttings: after cutting, all lateral branches should be cut off, and the leaves in the middle and lower parts should also be cut off in order to reduce the evaporation of water and avoid the sharp contradiction between income and expenditure, resulting in death.

Cutting methods of Jasmine Flower

1. Seedbed soil: loose, fertile, good drainage, no stones and rubble, 35-40 cm deep before cutting, then 20-30% rotten compost, and mix well into box trench, 90-100 cm, ditch width 30 cm, for drainage and management.

2. Cutting methods: cuttings should be cut along with cutting. In order to avoid "turning hair" damage to the lower skin of cuttings and affect healing, the "introduction" method is often used. First introduce a hole, and then gently insert and compact the cuttings. The insertion depth is appropriate to expose a node. Most of the rest were buried in the soil to minimize the transpiration noodles and expand the absorption of water surface, which took root in about 40-60 days.
