Huayi, Lecheng, Orange, Yuquan and Hong Kong Mantou, the parent company of the Devil Tower, jointly announced the establishment of a start-up platform yesterday, with each company contributing NT $30 million to help young people implement their ideas and train game developers in Taiwan.

The Taipei International Gaming Show was unveiled yesterday, kicked off by the "Game Industry CEO Summit Forum", inviting Huayi International Chairman Huang Bohong, Game Orange Chairman Liu Baiyuan, Leyi Technology Chairman Xu Jinlong, and Hong Kong Mad Head founder Zeng Jianzhong to discuss the market outlook of the global and Taiwan game industry in 2014, as well as how the game industry can seize business opportunities in the rapid transformation of the industry.

In view of the rise of mobile device games and the need for more creative talents, five game factories in the forum announced yesterday that they would set up a start-up platform, with each company contributing 30 million yuan to help young people put their ideas into practice. More game manufacturers and the National Development Fund are welcome to join.
