Facilitate the entry and exit of Taiwan businessmen in and out of Zibo Public Security to promote the New Policy

The Public Security Bureau of Zibo City, Shandong Province recently issued ten measures to serve Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots, hoping to make it more convenient for Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots to work and live in Zibo and promote economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two places.

The China Taiwan Network reported that Ding Guanyong, director of the Public Security Bureau of Zibo City, Shandong Province, led a team a few days ago to conduct research into Taiwan-funded enterprises to understand the working and living conditions of Taiwan businessmen in Zibo, and to listen to the opinions and suggestions of Taiwan businessmen on hot issues such as multiple endorsements for Taiwan residents travelling to and from the mainland, renewal of certificates, car driving licenses, and other hot issues.

On the basis of investigation and extensive solicitation of opinions, the Zibo Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice on the issuance of Ten measures for Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots served by the Zibo Public Security Bureau on January 13, 2014. The detailed provisions are as follows: Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots; to apply for entry and exit endorsement documents as soon as possible; to extend the validity period of visa for Taiwan compatriots to and from the mainland and residence as long as necessary. Implement Taiwan compatriot endorsement certificate booking service, agency service and door-to-door service; carry out temporary accommodation registration and online pre-acceptance service for Taiwan compatriots; establish a long-term contact service mechanism with Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan-funded enterprises; give priority to the registration procedures for the technical personnel introduced by Taiwan compatriots' families and Taiwan-funded enterprises; open up a green channel for fire administrative examination and approval business; optimize the service measures for car driving and management business. Strengthen security precautions within and around Taiwan-funded enterprises; timely and properly handle cases involving Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots; and so on ten measures.

The development of the public security system of Zibo City to serve Taiwan businessmen, especially the formulation of ten measures to serve Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots, has optimized the environment for attracting investment from Taiwan and raised the working standard of the whole city for Taiwan work.
