Triticum aestivum is a unique kind of wheat, which belongs to the genus Roegneriaceae. It has red wheat berries after maturity and is cultivated in Canada, France, Germany and Europe. It is cultivated in Northeast China, North China, Northwest China and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. It has high edible and medicinal value. Let's take a look at the soilless cultivation techniques of wheat grass.

Seed soaking treatment

Take the wheat seeds, put them in a bottle, wash them with water, fill them with water, and soak them for about 8 minutes and 10 hours. The soaking time is shorter in summer and longer in winter, and it is good to soak the seeds until they are full of water.

Sprouting method

Wash the soaked seeds clean, take a seedling plate, spread a layer of napkin, wet with water, sow the seeds evenly, you can drain them densely, as long as they are not piled up, put a towel or napkin on top of the seeds, wet them with water and play a moisturizing role. The seedling plate below should be used to leak water and do not soak the seeds in water. Also, budding requires shading to simulate the environment of the seeds in the soil, so cover them with towels or paper towels.

Cultivation technology

Moisturize the seedling plate with water every day and pick out the bad and moldy seeds, otherwise they will infect other seeds. When the buds grow out of nearly 1 cm, you can remove the covered towels or paper towels and let the wheat grass grow freely. Moisturizing with water every day may require 2 to 3 times a day, depending on the weather, 3 times hot, 2 times cooler, and 1 time in winter. Be careful not to be exposed to the sun, just astigmatism.

Timely harvest

When the green wheat grass grows to 10 to 15 centimeters, it can be harvested and drunk, and cut as close to the root as possible with scissors or knives. The harvest time depends on the environment, water quality, climate and the variety planted, ranging from 5 to 12 days.
