Toona sinensis is a cultivated species of tender stems and leaves for food in Meliaceae trees. It is called "vegetable on trees". It is rich in vitamins and a variety of essential trace elements for human body. It has high medical and health care functions. It is delicious and popular among people. In the production of Toona sinensis sprouts, there are three kinds of sprouts, seedlings and body sprouts. Let's take a look at the planting technology of Toona sinensis sprouts!

Toona sinensis seed sprouts

1. Seed treatment: It is best to choose the seeds of Chinese toon, which have high germination rate and good seedling quality. The fresh Chinese toon seeds are stripped of wings, soaked in clear water for 5 - 6 hours, soaked in 0.01% potassium permanganate solution for disinfection for 15 minutes, and then soaked in clear water for continuous soaking, during which the Chinese toon seeds are washed twice with warm water at 20 - 25 DEG C until the Chinese toon seeds absorb water and expand, and then the water is dried. Wrap the seeds with 3 layers of clean wet cloth, put them in a container to shade and germinate, and wash them with warm water of 20~25℃ 1~2 times a day during germination. Generally 4 - 8 days white, you can sow.

2. Timely sowing: spread a layer of straw paper or non-woven fabric or gauze on the disinfected seedling tray, spread 2.5 cm thick perlite, sow the germinated seeds on it, the sowing amount is about 150 g per tray, and cover the seeds with 1.5 cm thick perlite after sowing. Finally, spray with warm water at 20~25℃ and put on the cultivation rack.

3. Post-sowing management: spray warm water of 20~25℃ twice a day in the morning and evening after sowing, keep the relative humidity of the air at about 80%, and avoid excessive water holding capacity of the substrate or accumulation of water in the tray. 3 days after sowing, the temperature should be controlled at 20~25℃ in the daytime and 12~15℃ at night. After budding out of the substrate, the temperature should be controlled at 18~23℃ in the daytime. When the temperature is low, the growth speed is slow, and when the temperature is high, the growth speed is accelerated, the quality is reduced, and the lignification is easy. Generally 12~14 days, bud length 5~7 cm, cotyledons have not yet expanded, buds thick, white, and the root tip has not been yellow harvest.

Toona sinensis seedlings

Toona sinensis seedling is an edible seedling of Toona sinensis which is obtained on the basis of cultivating seed sprouts of Toona sinensis. Toona sinensis seed sprouts grow to thick yellow tender, cotyledons fully developed, can continue to see the light green growth. Toona sinensis seedlings grow well under weak light and scattered light, and can be regulated by shading net according to weather conditions. Before harvest, according to the seedling color upside down left and right inverted plate, generally 2~3 days after the light, seedlings grow to more than 10 cm, cotyledons fully developed, true leaves exposed, not yet lignified before harvest market.

Chinese toon sprouts

Toona sinensis bud is the tender bud sheath of Toona sinensis, commonly known as Toona sinensis bud, its production process is to cultivate Toona sinensis plants. But the propagation coefficient is small, the uniformity of seedlings is poor, and seed propagation is generally used in production.

1. Seed sowing: select fertile, loose and sunny plots as nursery land, apply sufficient base fertilizer before sowing, irrigate sole water, and prepare the land in time when the land is dry. In the fine harrow flat seedbed, according to 20 cm row spacing ditch, ditch depth 2~4 cm, ditch width 6~8 cm, seed evenly sown in the ditch, 3 cm to have a seed is appropriate. 2 - 3 kg seeds per acre.

2. Seedling management: after sowing, the seeds of Toona sinensis are covered with 1~2 cm thick fine soil, and finally covered with plastic film. 4~7 days to start germination, seedlings start arching soil to break the film in time to release seedlings, and tightly put seedlings, when seedlings have 2 true leaves combined with intertillage loose soil in time thinning seedlings, weeding. After thinning, strengthen water and fertilizer management to cultivate strong seedlings.

3. Timely planting: the planting period of Chinese toon is from defoliation in winter to germination in early spring, about 3000 plants are planted per mu, green manure can be interplanted between rows, and then it can be turned into fertilizer. The seedlings are used in warm greenhouses in winter. Generally, after falling leaves in autumn, the seedlings are transplanted when the daily average temperature is 3~5℃. The seedlings are planted closely, and about 6000 plants are planted per mu. Water immediately after planting.

4. Field management: topdressing is carried out during the growth period of budding shoots, topdressing is carried out once every harvest, and watering is timely in dry days. In order to sprout early, 0.01% gibberellin can be sprayed on the buds to break dormancy. After harvesting 2~3 times, dwarfing treatment was carried out in the middle of July. From the middle and late July, 200~400 times solution of 15% paclobutrazol was sprayed once every 10~15 days for 2~3 times continuously, which could control excessive growth, cap dwarfing in advance and increase dry matter accumulation.

5. Plant adjustment: The plant adjustment should be carried out for the Chinese toon cultivated in the protected field, such as topping and promoting branching. The seedlings just transplanted into the greenhouse should not be topped temporarily, because the nutrients stored in the xylem can be used for the growth of a crop of Chinese toon, so that it can improve the utilization rate and promote photosynthesis in the rapid growth. When the second crop of Chinese toon is picked, the top is topped and dried, and after drying, paclobutrazol is sprayed once.

6. Bagging optimization: In order to improve the quality, when the Chinese toon buds grow to about 5 cm, they can be covered with black and red polyethylene film bags to isolate light growth, and when they grow to 15 cm, they can be picked off. The outer bag can be reused.

7. Timely harvesting: harvesting when the Chinese toon buds grow to 15~20 cm, 1~2 leaves at the base should be reserved to facilitate the germination of lateral buds. It can be harvested 2~3 times in open field and 3~5 times in protected field.
