The second phase of the construction of the Yilan Luodong sewage treatment plant operated by Liqi Construction's Shanlin Water Company has been completed. It is expected that the third phase of the project will be started when the first two phases of the sewer take over rate reaches 80%, and construction is expected to start in 2016.

The Luodong sewage treatment plant and the sewage sewer pipe project are carried out in three phases, and the second phase of the sewer pipe is being actively carried out. The total acceptance rate of the first two phases has reached 66.85%, which is still some time away from 80%. The sewage treatment capacity of the first two phases has reached 30, 000 metric tons per day, but the actual treatment capacity is only 14000 metric tons per day.

Wu Renjie, general manager of the Shanlin Water Environmental Engineering Company, says that at present, the annual operating income of the Luodong sewage treatment plant is about NT $500 million, and it is estimated that the annual operating income will increase by another 250 million yuan after the completion of the third phase.
