In the budding period, the water level should be shallow, in order to improve the soil temperature, to promote early germination and rapid growth, the water level should be deep in the exuberant growth period, to facilitate the healthy growth of plants, and to lower the water level in the lotus root stage to promote early lotus root.

3. Soil fertilizer: the lotus root plant is huge, extremely resistant to fertilizer, and likes soft and fertile clayey soil. Fertilizer is generally based on base fertilizer, which accounts for 70% of the total amount of fertilizer, supplemented by topdressing, accounting for 30%.
