On the 20th and 21st of this month, ITRI will combine the "Taiwan International Lighting Technology Exhibition" and the "LED Taiwan process Exhibition" seminar for the first time, and include the discussion of OLED emerging lighting technologies.

In 2014, the LED lighting market will continue to grow and gradually replace traditional lighting. This year's seminar will be held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei from the 20th, especially inviting experts and scholars from a number of leading companies in Europe, the United States, Asia and China, including Panasonic, Philips, Merck, Aixtron, Konica Minolta, Australian Professional Lighting designers Association (PLDA) and so on.

In addition, there are the University of Leeds in the UK, Rensselaer Institute of Technology in the United States, Crystal Electronics, Ronda Electronics, etc., to explore important development topics and trends, such as smart lighting and application progress, organic light emitting diode (OLED) lighting technology, advanced LED lighting technology, challenges of LED manufacturing and new solid-state lighting production technologies.

ITRI pointed out that the Lighting Research and Development Center of Rensselaer Institute of Technology was invited to share "innovative Development and Application of Intelligent Lighting", the views of lighting designers of PLDA International Development and Design Office, and the opportunities and challenges of LED.

Ronda Electronics takes "LED Natural Light Intelligent Lighting" as the topic, discusses the use of LED colorful and adjustable light characteristics to create a special atmosphere for lighting space; Philips shares the topic of "value-driven LED Lighting Application Research".

In addition to LED lighting, OLED lighting technology, which is thin, flexible and similar to natural light, has also grown rapidly recently and is regarded as the next generation solid-state lighting source. In the seminar, Panasonic, Merck, Konica Minolta and other enterprises will also discuss OLED technology, materials, future technology applications and lamp design.
