Hundreds of millions of US dollars in business opportunities for green products exhibition
The International Green products Exhibition was unveiled yesterday, and the Foreign Trade Association said it is expected that the exhibition and follow-up business opportunities are expected to exceed 100 million US dollars.
The 2014 International Green products Exhibition, organized by the Foreign Trade Association commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, was unveiled at the World Trade Center in Taipei from 13 to 16, providing business opportunities for Taiwan manufacturers to strive for green procurement and technical cooperation.
Huang Wenrong, secretary general of the Foreign Trade Association, said that the exhibition attracted buyers from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Canada and Brazil to Taiwan to participate in the exhibition, and a B2B (business exchange) international procurement fair will be held in the afternoon. I hope that Taiwan's good green products can be marketed all over the world.
Huang Wenrong pointed out that the exhibition will also plan 20 product launch meetings, so that domestic and foreign buyers can freely enter the market to listen.
Through the International Green products Exhibition, Huang Wenrong said that the hope of creating green is the main axis of life, and environmental protection is the consensus in mind.
He stressed that Taiwan does not lag behind in promoting green products, and hopes to make green products a universal value of life and work with people from all walks of life to create a better environment.
The Foreign Trade Association estimates that the exhibition and follow-up business opportunities are expected to exceed 100 million US dollars.
According to the estimates of the World Trade Organization, the market value of green goods reaches 1.4 trillion US dollars every year, and there are unlimited business opportunities for green goods in the future.
