The main producing area of star anise

Guangxi is the main producing area of star anise, distributed in some counties in southwest, south, southeast and central Guangxi, and some counties in northwest and northern Guangxi, covering an area of about 3.2 million mu, with an output of more than 10, 000 tons, accounting for about 90% of the total output of the country. Guangxi is not only the main producing area of star anise, but also the largest distribution center in the country.

Gulong star anise has been planted for more than 100 years, and the existing 'Longchun' trademark is registered. In June 2006, Gulong was named "the hometown of Chinese star anise".
