The occurrence of cucumber anthracnose is becoming more and more serious in recent years, which is caused by introduced seeds. It occurs in both spring and autumn, which is difficult to control and has a great impact on production.

Symptoms of cucumber anthracnose

Cucumber anthracnose can occur from seedlings to adults, with semi-oval light brown spots on the edge of cotyledons with orange-yellow punctate glue; adult leaves infect, the spots are nearly round, with a diameter of 4murmur18mm, grayish brown to reddish brown, and when severe, the leaves wither; the stems and petioles are infected, and the lesions are oval or oblong, yellowish brown, slightly sunken, connected in severe cases, circle around the stem, and the plant dies. Melon strips infected, the disease spot is nearly round, at first light green, then yellowish brown, the disease spot is slightly sunken, there is pink sticky material on the surface, cracking in the later stage.

Pathogen of cucumber anthracnose

Cucumber anthracnose is caused by Cucurbitaceae subphylum fungi and Cucurbitaceae. The pathogen overwintered with mycelium or sclerotia on the seeds or in the soil with the disease residue.

Characteristics of anthracnose in cucumber

When the conditions were suitable in the spring of the following year, the pathogen produced conidia and a large number of conidia, which became the source of primary infection. The bacteria spread with the help of wind and rain, irrigation water, agricultural operations and so on, causing re-infection. Seed transportation can cause long-distance transmission. The suitable temperature for disease in the field is 20-27 ℃, the optimum growth temperature of the pathogen is 24 ℃, and the air relative humidity is more than 95%. It is beneficial to the disease when the leaves have dew, and the suitable incubation period of temperature and humidity is only 3 days. The disease was serious in the melon land with sticky soil, poor drainage, partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, lack of light in protected land and untimely ventilation. Cucumber anthracnose mostly occurred in protected cultivation in Zhejiang and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and the peak period was from May to June and from September to October.

Control measures of cucumber anthracnose

From the seedling stage, "Suojing" 30ml mixed with water 15kg spray, 5murine once every 7 days. Treatment: "Sujing" 50ml + "garlic oil" 15-20ml mixed with water 15kg spray, 3murine once a day, 2-3 times.

1. Low temperature and high humidity, poor ventilation and light transmission, humidity of more than 97%, humidity of 22 murals and 27 degrees, the disease is the most prevalent, open-field cucumbers are easy to mix with bacterial diseases.

2. Select sandy loam with good drainage to avoid low-lying and poorly drained land.

3. Agricultural antibiotic 120 (pyrimidine nucleoside antibiotics) 150 × 200 times spray, 70% mancozeb wettable powder 600 × 800 times, 38% cuproloxil 800 times, 20% fluorosilazolidomide 1200 times, 56% chlorothalonil 600 times, 58% carbendazim manganese zinc wettable powder 500 times 600 times, Pingkuling (fruit tree medicine) 600x spray 50% Fumishuang wettable powder and 50% carbendazim wettable powder were sprayed at 1:1 and 50% Baogong wettable powder 1000 times.
