Three cherry pepper, also known as Japanese three cherry pepper, is a variety of pepper, plant compact, fruit clusters, upward growth, thin flesh. It's spicy, it's oily. The field growth period of three cherry peppers is 120~135 days, the height of the plant is 40~60cm, 8-15 branches per plant, 150~200 peppers per plant, and the mature period is concentrated. It can be harvested at one time, and the yield of dry peppers per mu is 200~300kg.

The interplanting mode of wheat and pepper is generally adopted for planting three cherry peppers, that is, when wheat is sown before the year, one row of wheat is sown, and one empty space (120cm area, three rows of wheat are sown, covering an area of 40cm wide, leaving 80cm empty space) is reserved. Transplanting is carried out in late April until harvest in mid and late January.

seedling technology

Three cherry peppers are generally sown in mid-March, and must be cultivated in sunny beds or small arched sheds. Planting an acre of land requires 35-40 square meters of seedlings. After the seeds are treated, the seeds are sown with "cold tail and warm head", that is, 5-6 consecutive sunny days should be maintained after sowing. Seedbed management should pay attention to three links: namely, do a good job of insulation and anti-freezing in the early stage, promote early emergence, and produce seedlings; adjust temperature and humidity reasonably in the middle stage to prevent burning seedlings; flash seedlings and fallen seedlings; strengthen seedling training in the later stage to prevent excessive growth and improve the adaptability and resistance of seedlings. When the cotyledons of seedlings emerge, the seedlings should be thinned at the elbow. When 2-3 true leaves are unfolded, the distance between seedlings should be kept 3~ 5 cm. When the seedlings have 4-6 leaves, the ventilation should be gradually increased. The film should be removed all day 5-7 days before planting.

timely planting

Based on the application of sufficient base fertilizer at the time of wheat sowing before the Spring Festival, 25kg ammonium chloride, 10-15kg urea or 30- 40 kg ammonium bicarbonate were applied per mu. The transplanting and planting time was generally in the last ten days of April. The day before transplanting, irrigate the seedbed with water, so that more soil can be taken when seedlings are raised, and roots can be injured less. When planting, three rows are planted in the space of 80cm, the row spacing is 20~25cm, the plant spacing is about 25cm, and the two plants are planted, and 6500-7000 holes are planted per mu.

field management

Three cherry peppers generally use one-time fertilization method, in the growth period without topdressing. However, quick-acting chemical fertilizer can be applied to the plots with poor fertilizer conservation or fertilizer removal after pepper fruit setting, and the ground should be kept dry and wet during the whole growth period. The yield of pepper is mainly concentrated on the lateral branches, the yield on the main stem accounts for only 10%, while the yield on the lateral branches accounts for 80-90%. Therefore, the top should be knocked in time within 5-7 days after returning to seedling to restrict the growth of the main stem and promote the germination of lateral branches.

timely harvesting

Three cherry peppers are generally plucked and harvested once before frost. Therefore, in order to promote the upper green fruits to turn red, the whole field is sprayed with ethephon about 10 days before frost. All leaves fall off before pepper plucking and all fruits turn red. The whole plant is spread out in the field or hung upside down on trees, ropes and erected racks to dry. After the whole plant is completely dried, sprinkle water 12 hours before picking, and then pick it according to color and integrity. After picking, it is diluted and dried, and can be sold after drying.
