Lan Junde, chairman of Siwei Airlines, said that he would step into the tourism and leisure industry and build the first large-scale Japanese-style garden theme leisure resort park in Yilan and Taiwan,"Green Dance Manor"; it is expected to be put into trial operation in April next year.

This investment is a BOO (build-own-operate) project strongly supported by the Yilan County government, which requires more than 70% of Yilan residents to be employed; the investment amount is about NT $2.2 billion, of which the land cost is about NT $600 million, and the rest is more than NT $1.6 billion for operation and construction costs.

Lan Junde hopes that he can contribute profits in the first year and recover them in 3 to 5 years. After all, the land cost is not very high.

In addition to the original planned 5.76 hectares of land, 0.7 hectares of landscape wedding garden will be added to the park, and 500 meters of bicycle paths and embankment trails will be adopted on both sides of the river in the north. It is expected to introduce two brand-new 50-seater coastal passenger ships in the future.

Lan Junde said that this can further extend the garden landscape leisure activities in the park to the coast of Yilan, including coastal activities such as changing landscapes along the coast, sightseeing of Guishan Island and afternoon tea in the ocean, making the park a unique theme landscape resort in Taiwan, combining land Japanese gardens and marine leisure activities.

Lan Junde has always been interested in leisure hotels. He analyzed that business hotels in the market are too competitive. He himself has been in business in Japan for more than 30 years and yearned for the tranquility of Japanese gardens. Therefore, he cooperated with architect Huang Shiming to remove the serious impression of Japanese tradition and add elements of modern design.
