Paris is also known as single-legged lotus, white kansui, branch flower head, golden thread Paris. It is the rhizome of Yunnan Paris of Liliaceae plant. It is hard and brittle. Its cross section is white. It has the effect of clearing away heat and detoxifying, relieving swelling and pain, cooling liver and calming shock. It is used for furuncle swelling, sore throat, snake bite, falling pain, convulsion and other diseases. Let's take a look at the planting prospect of Paris.

Cultivation prospects of Paris

Paris polyphylla is a wild medicinal material. With the continuous decrease of wild resources year by year, its medicinal value is high, which leads to serious indiscriminate digging among folk people. Because of the long growth cycle of medicinal parts, the recoverable amount of wild resources is facing exhaustion. Recently, the market has been stable at high prices. Although the supply of goods on the market is not sold quickly, due to the reduction of resources, the high price market has not been reversed. The current market price of domestic unified goods is 780 yuan, optional goods are 870 yuan, and imported goods are between 280 and 290 yuan. Although artificial planting is successful at present, there is little supply in the market, the development trend is slow, it is still not scaled up, and the planting cost is also high.

Cultivation conditions of Paris

1. Geography: Wild Paris grows in valleys and streams at an altitude of 700~1100 meters, and under broad-leaved forests.

2. Soil: Paris is best grown in slightly acidic humus soil or fertile sandy soil with good water permeability. It cannot grow in alkaline earth or clay. It is not suitable for planting in sticky, water-prone and hardened soil.

3, moisture: Paris likes cool, damp, moderate moisture environment, both afraid of drought and afraid of water, soil moisture content is too low, easy to cause stem and leaf water loss, roots dry and die, and too high is easy to occur diseases and insect pests, rhizome rot.

4. Temperature: Paris plants are relatively cold-resistant and have no freezing damage at low temperature. The temperature from late February to early March is 5℃, even the lowest temperature is 2℃. The bud head does not have freezing damage when the temperature is 1~2℃. The suitable temperature for seed germination, root growth and terminal bud germination is 18~20℃, seedling emergence is 20℃, the growth of aboveground plants is 16~20℃, and the growth of underground rhizomes is 14~18℃.

5. Light: Paris is a shade-loving plant, which likes oblique light or astigmatism, avoids direct light, and requires a shaded environment for growth. Strong light will cause leaves to wither. Generally, shade is better at seed germination and seedling stage, and shade should be reduced appropriately two years before maturity to increase light, which is conducive to the accumulation of secondary metabolites and dry matter.

Planting Technology of Paris

1. Thinning and replenishing seedlings: usually thinning seedlings in direct seeding fields in the middle and late May, and checking ponds to supplement seedlings at the same time. Watering before thinning seedlings, picking seedlings with wooden pry, watering root water when replenishing seedlings, making full use of seedlings, ensuring full seedlings and sufficient density.

2. Intertillage and weeding: Paris requires loose soil and weak growth of aboveground parts, so special attention should be paid to loosening soil and weeding. Generally in late May to early June, heavy rain, soil easy to harden, to timely drainage, waterlogging prevention, to frequent intertillage, shallow loose soil, pay attention to weed removal at any time.

3, timely shade: Paris likes shade, fear strong light, the whole growth period is 40~50% of the light is good, so it is necessary to take shade measures after seedling and transplantation. In conditional place had better use sunshade net, the place that does not have a condition can adopt the method that inserts branch shade. Also can try out between, cover corn shade, but should pay attention to density and between, cover way.

4. Topdressing and soil cultivation: Paris usually has the growth law of flowering above and expanding tubers below. Generally, it grows fastest from mid-June to late August. It must be heavily applied in early June. 2000~3000 kg of cattle and sheep manure or soil fertilizer are used per mu. Add 20~ 30kg calcium phosphate, apply to the root, combine with cleaning ditch and cultivating soil, the soil on the wall must be loose, keep the soil surface, and there is no accumulated water at the bottom of the ditch.

5. Harvesting treatment: Paris polyphylla can be harvested before and after falling seedlings in autumn, i.e. from November to December to March of the next year. Tubers mostly grow in the topsoil and are easy to dig, but attention should be paid to keeping tubers intact. First cut off the stems and leaves, then dig from the side with a hoe, dig out tubers, shake off the soil, wash clean water, take advantage of fresh slices, slice thickness of 2~3 mm, dry can be. Cloudy days can be dried at about 30℃.
