Tainan City Holds Awards for Religious 100 Scenery Winners
(Taiwan Business News) The Tainan City Government recently held a "Popular Scenery Award Ceremony for Taiwan's Religious 100 Sceneries". Tainan Mayor Lai Qingde presented a certificate of commendation to Tainan City for winning the 16 religious landscapes selected in the first stage of the "Taiwan Religious 100 Sceneries" campaign.

Tainan Mayor Lai Qingde further pointed out that if religion can be combined with tourism, temples and churches are not only religious, but also cultural history. Tainan City Government said that in the "Taiwan Religious Scenery" campaign held by the Ministry of Interior last year, Tainan City proposed 42 religious landscapes to compete for the top 100 in the country.
