Rockery in Shangshui is very common, usually planting grass seeds and moss to make mountain plants, but you know that Shangshui stones can also grow succulent plants. See the introduction of a previous article, so eager to try, from a treasure spent more than ten yuan, Amoy a few small Sheung Shui stone to practice.

Succulent seedlings are ready-made, since raising meat, leaves continue to drop, so there are always a lot of seedlings. The tray is to find two useless large plates for waste utilization.

The first step is to wash the Sheung Shui stone, pose it, and combine it on the plate for a total of two plates.

The second step is to punch a hole in the stone with an electric drill, which is done by the husband. Choose the place where there are small eyes or depressions, and the hole position is evenly distributed on the stone. The depth is about three or four centimeters, and the drill bit is thicker. The effect is as shown in the picture.

The third step is to draw plates. The material is acrylic paint that paints succulent flowerpots. I'm going to draw a lake effect and a sea effect. It is very simple, adjust the color, apply it evenly, and then draw several different colors to represent the water waves. Dry after painting, and then apply transparent varnish twice for protection.

The fourth step is to plant succulent plants. Select the seedlings with longer poles, put the seedlings with roots and soil into the eyes of the stone with tweezers, and then fill the eyes with some soil to make the seedlings tight. Try to choose some different kinds of different colors together, more rich and colorful. Put the stone back on the plate so that it is almost finished.

The fifth step is decoration. I bought some Sheung Shui stone miniature furnishings, small pavilions, pagodas, boats, houses, birds and so on, and put them on the stone. If they are not strong, stick them with blue glue (sticky photos to the wall, a bit like plasticine). In this way, the micro-landscape becomes active.

Finally, add water to the plate, and the stone will be full after a while, so you don't have to worry about the lack of water. Bibo Dangyang, green water and green hills, rockery succulent micro-landscape is done, is not very simple, maintenance is also very easy, once a week to add water, it has been done for more than two months, growing very well, in the future try to grow meat on the bigger Sheung Shui stone.

Encyclopedia: Shangshui stone is also called absorbent stone (natural air purifier). The reason why it is so called is because after storing water in the basin, if the quality of Sheung Shui stone is good, it can be sucked to the top quickly. Sheung Shui stone can plant weeds, moss moss, green and moist, is a good stone for bonsai production. Making succulent bonsai with Shangshui stone is a good idea, because it can effectively prevent succulent succulent water shortage or stagnant water, coupled with the good air permeability of Shangshui stone, it can be said that the water is just right and permeable, and the disadvantage is also obvious. that is, if the hole drilled is too small, so the drilling should not be too small or too large, let the plant control in the cave, gradually grow into a small pile, and then decorated with moss. It will have more charm!
