Honeysuckle is the scientific name honeysuckle, because the honeysuckle blossoms are white at first and then turn yellow, so it is named honeysuckle. There are two ways of reproduction in honeysuckle planting, namely, seed propagation and cutting propagation.

Seed propagation

When the seeds of Flos Lonicerae are ripe in autumn, the ripe fruits are collected and rubbed in clean water, the peels and impurities are bleached, and the full seeds sunk to the bottom are removed and dried and stored. When planting, open a cm-wide ditch on the seedbed, spread the seeds evenly into the ditch, cover 3 cm thick soil, compact, and emerge in about 10 days.

Cuttage propagation

When cutting and propagation of honeysuckle, we should choose the branches with exuberant rattan stem growth, cut and grow about 30cm, each root has at least 3 nodes, take off the leaves, cut the lower end into an oblique mouth, tie it into a small handle, soak the socket with plant hormone IAA 500mg / kg (500PPm), and cut it while it is fresh. Dig holes, cut 5 cuttings in each hole, leave 1 stem on the ground, at least one bud is exposed in the soil, press tightly and pour water thoroughly, it will take about 1 month to take root and sprout.
